I fixed my Galaxy S22 Ultra's battery life

In my recent review of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, I nitpicked the battery life of that device. But as it turns out, it's not entirely Samsung's fault that my battery life was terrible, it was my SIM card that was draining my battery. The main advantage of the S-Pen for me isn't just sketching or taking notes, it's a mouse replacement when browsing desktop websites. I'm a long-term Galaxy Note user and ever since my Note3, I haven't really ever considered any other phone besides Note and S Ultra (which is just a renamed Note). That's why when you said you've "upgraded" your Note8 to S10+, I immediately thought "downgraded".

    Thank you!! This is a super useful conversation. I also just hate how shit Amazon's search engine is. Their parameters on the left column don't actually work/help to thin out your search results most of the time, compared to better websites like Best Buy. Amazon's search engine just pushes you to see what it wants you to buy.

    Thank you. I am also using the MixPre3 II for ripping vinyl records, and some restauration programs don’t accept files with more than two tracks. Your explanation solved my problem. I record in 192/32 to have as much headroom as possible to work with. Now it just works 😊

    I don't understand how this is a "programmer" keyboard ... is it the dobra switches? Why would you want a 60% as a programmer? I mean I get why you'd want it as a gamer, but it makes no sense for me that a programmer would want that. Or dobra switches to be honest. To any programmer looking for a nice new keyboard. Bro, just buy a nice mechanical board. You get get boards that are 50x higher quality than this for half the price. You can just customize your keys and layers on something like VIA which even most budget mechanical keyboards support nowadays. You can get a better layout. 60% is great for gaming since it's very compact and gives you more mouse space. But for programming? Listen, I'm no programmer but that just makes little sense to me. If you use the arrow keys a lot why would you want a board that requires you to FN+key to use an arrow when you can just get a 65% or 75% board and have the arrow keys included, in a still compact body? I have a bunch of boards, my latest is "budget" board from Keychron (v1 max). it has VIA/QMK support, it has bluetooth and 2.4hz, a 1000hz polling rate for wired and 2.4. It's a hot swap board (don't ever waste money on a board that isn't hot swap lol), it has a 4000 mah battery that can last up to 225 hours or so on bt without rgb turned on. It's gasket mounted and filled with multiple layers of foam and stuff to give it a better sound profile. It's got a 75% layout, nice full sized arrow keys and a function row. It also has a nob that you can customize (it raises and lowers sound, press to mute on default). It comes with a usb A and usb c 2.4hz adapter etc etc. it's infinitely better than this 60% board that costs 3 times the price. Also you get much more options for keycap sets and different types of switches if you prefer a more heavy or lighter switch etc.

    • @bonaqua3076
      @bonaqua3076 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some programmers use specific text editor that lets them navigate through their source code without using arrow keys. Also compact size means every key is within the reach of their fingers (esc and delete keys are actually closer than other layouts). So yea the keyboard is very niche and there are plenty of other better options but for those who find it comfortable, they never look back on other keyboards

    I'm kind of confused because when I look up standing desks like Autonomous, Jarvis, Uplift, Flexispot, Ergonofis or something else, it looks like they sell legs separately from the wood piece top. It's confusing, why would a company sell them separately, that seems bizarre...... I look online and some people sell them separately too.... I even seen some people buy some ikea tabletop and then separet legs too. How do you tell the difference? I found online of Uplift which suddenly people are selling off the ones with only the 2 buttons for cheaper now and some Jarvis but used. It says "uplift jcb35n2-110". I searched online and I can't find it anywhere. The local seller replied with only "All same brand! Original “. One of the first ones when they came out I believe. It’s my uncles when first bought the table think he paid around $1,000-1,200 ". Please help. I can't tell if these people are selling because it's either old models or somethings wrong with it or because they just bought some legs and some cheap tabletop which doesn't seem fair at all since it's not coming as a set. I'm guess brand name table tops are much more expensive than some cheap table top that can be bought from ikea or home depot that seems like a ripoff

    Great overview. I love the G9 and picked mine up in summer 2022. So far I have had no issues with autofocus for moving subjects either with photos (testing in burst) or with video, using kit lens and a sigma prime lens. Perhaps the 2.5 firmware update in Nov 2021 helped with this (I see your video was uploaded in May 2021).

    Very detailed and easy to understand explanation. Why is there 3 Tracks(L,R and Ch1) when I record a boom on Ch1? What is the meaning of L, R additionally with Ch1? My setup is just one MKH416 connected to CH1 on MixPre3 and I am trying to record talking head.. Is there any additional benefit in quality of audio output or editing workflow if I use all 3 (L,R and Ch1) in final Video? Is it OK to record on Ch1 without the L and R? Should I just get rid of L and R? Is L and R really required for single Mic setup? What is the purpose of L and R?

    • @dickwyn
      @dickwyn ปีที่แล้ว

      L,R is just for the stereo. for a talking head shot it just usually use ch1 and in my video editing software i set the audio track to mono so the audio goes to the left and right channel of the speaker
