Switching from the Panasonic Lumix G9 to Sony A7 IV

    I recently started using my G9 again after getting Sony A7IV. I like the lighter lenses. A7IV is amazing, but the weight of telephoto lenses is more than I thought.

      yeah, the weight of lenses is definitely a difference. my Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 for the sony is heavier than the equivalent Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 on my G9. but then again depending on the use case, i might need the depth of field provided by the sigma.

    You meant to say sensor is 1/4 size, not half.

    Would have loved to know the difference of iso performance since it's something I'm very looking for !

    Interesting. I’m one of those who think that Panasonic will introduce PDAF/ hybrid AF in the updated S series and it will flow down from those to other lines.
    A hypothetical: if the G9 had AF as good as the Sony, would you still feel the move to FF would be worth it?
