Your point about practicing with professional workflows while shooting personal projects is 100% on the money. Such a great opportunity to test things and get it all figured out before an embarrassing moment on set! Thanks for the upload.

Nice video. I have a very similar setup. My plan for TC is to use the MixPre as the master TC and jam sync two Tentacle Sync E devices to the MIxPre. Each Tentacle Sync E would be put on a camera. I am only doing this since I only have 2 tentacle Sync E units and I am trying to avoid purchasing a third. Keep up the good work on videos.

Thanks for this! Glad to also see i'm not the only one using 29.97!
have you tried to use 29.97 with another camera on 59.94 and get them to align perfectly?

as a matter a fact. i actually did that once. davinci resolve did manage to match up the timecode but there was some drifting. it was like a 90 minute take so i had to move it a few frames forward as i progressed.

@@dickwyn my "60"fps gets close but there is definitely drifting. according to the website the tentacle sync program produces a xml timeline that eliminates that drift (i did verify this with premiere) but because davinci has it's own way of bringing in the files you get the drifting.
