Typing on blank keycaps

    Did you customize the keyboard at all with the dip switches? Or did you leave it in the stock default settings? I want to get a blank HHKB and just leave it with the default stock settings, but wanted to hear what you think.

      yeah, i did customize the dip switches. i have switch 2 turned on as im on macOS most of the time. i have 3 turned on to switch the delete key to backspace. and i have 6 turned on to disable power saving mode. hope this helps

      @@dickwyn Oh very cool! I read that dip switch 3 is universally turned on and so I'm still confused as to why that's the default setting. Unless maybe someone is editing in something like vi/vim and they need to delete the line. I have ChromeOS and I just ssh If I need to use anything so I think I could probably turn 2 on as well.

      ah i see. yeah i haven't used chromeos with this keyboard but yeah give it a try and see how it works.

    You don't need touch typing for this lol. I use a split, ortholinear keyboard called glove80 with split keycaps. And I do not touch type.

      Stop, you're obviously not a Christian and are just pretending to be one. No Christian randomly says "In Jesus' name, amen" like that.
