Have you ever thought about teaching overseas. Asia pays the most. Europe pays the least. Thailand and Vietnam are fun and cheap. Korea and China pay a lot but it is pretty serious work, parents have high expectations - China is the best for saving money, wage for a teacher in Shanghai is up to $90,000 per year with a free apartment and plane tickets to China and home once a year. Tuition at an international school in Shanghai is $35,000 to $75,000 per year for prek-12.

@@PreferablyPreK You seem like a really good teacher you would do well overseas. We love having a maid and traveling with a month off in January and 6 weeks off in the summer. You can bring your pets. I am not recruiting, I just love Asia. Check out Schrole and ISS for jobs. Plus many of the schools have end of year bonus that is more than one month salary.

How do you differentiate your small groups for PreK? These activities seem more geared for Kinder or 1st.
With the pre-k kids, your focus should be tracking their letter sound mastery and work on phonological awareness activities.

Make sure your PowerPoint isn't open when you download the font. If it was open, then close it and you should be able to see the fonts you downloaded. Hope this helps!

These fonts you can't use to then sell your worksheets, right?
Not necessarily. When you download fonts, the creator will have "Terms of Use" (TOU) that will detail how you may and may not use their fonts. The majority allow commercial use for worksheets.
Hello Yaritza! I just found your channel. I know exactly what you’re speaking of because I lost my position due to the many changes within the district as well. Amazingly, I’m teaching Pre-K now, and enjoying it. I know God placed me where I should be this year. There have been so many changes personally and professionally. I need to write letters with my own handwriting and make tracing worksheets by them for my students. Would you please help?
If you are writing letters with your own handwriting, I recommend writing with a highlighter or light-colored marker so children can trace.

I buy it from Teachers Pay Teachers. There are different sellers and one of my favorites is Whimsy Clips.
Every time I try to print, the image does not print with it. Only the letter outline. Any tips?
I'm not sure what the issue might be. Try saving the file as a pdf document, that way it locks in the image. Hope this helps!

This is a great video. But damn America budgets for war and so much crap, but cant afford to pay for a laminator in schools. Education is apparently just so unimportant to America

I believe the word "is" is considered a temporary heart word because s can says /z/ but learners are not taught that right away.

Do prepare worksheets on canva and download in pdf ?
I don't like to make worksheets on Canva, I prefer PowerPoint. But I like making picture cards on Canva.
The whole PA umbrella can be confusing for many trained and untrained educators but that's no reason to take shortcuts when releasing content as important as this! You did an excellent job of explaining everything! It is the most accurate explanation of phonological awareness on TH-cam.
