My name is Joanna Quincey and, as an experienced Certified Zentangle Teacher, I am passionate about sharing the fun and joy of creating Zentangle.

(I have used a self cut 2.5” tile in Legion Stonehenge paper)

In the UK we have had one of the wettest autumns and winters on record. I think we are all a bit fed up with it! I have recently invested in a Lumos Duo pen made by www.tomsstudio.com This is a refillable multi-tip pen with super eco credentials. They are plastic free avoiding the huge waste of regular , single use, fineliner pens. In this video I show you my first setting up of the pen, inserting the nib and filling with ink. Jo, I really appreciated how you explained that one…this has always been a bit hard for me to make bunzo. I was wondering if you could check the contact section of your website. I have tried to reach out to you twice recently about confirming my enrollment in the retreat, video with kit option. And I haven’t heard back and just wanted to make sure everything worked during the registration.

I’m so pleased that you find the videos helpful. As a beginner I’d always recommend, if you haven’t done one, taking an Introduction class with a Certified Zentangle Teacher. It will give you a really good base upon which to build your own Zentangle Practice. Many of us teach online . Have a full Intro video course. You can find all the details in my website www.zenjo.co.uk I am also teaching a live Mooka made Simple class on 22nd May and a Shade with Confidence class on 19th June. It really doesn’t have to look like mine or anyone else’s tangling. What you draw is unique to you and that is special. It’s all about the process rather than the outcome. I hope that you are inspired to do more tangling. 😊
