Laminated jackets need a warm feather type jacket underneath to maintain warmth esp in wet weather as rain will cool you plus the weather temp

Im seriously considering a 1200xc for the welsh borders as the tenere is just a bit too tall. I think id use my crf for those lanes in the wet though. Not sue how many 230kg dead lifts i have in me riding solo!

I have the same setup. The video quality is a bit poor in 360 because you have 5.7mp but that for the complete 360 view.

Hi, found your channel and love your videos and presentation, I purchased a Instamic to go with my Insta360x3 as a result of your review on the Instamic. Can I ask why you do upload in 4K? As find your content very interesting and I know when I upload to TH-cam the content from the Insta360x3 in 4K is very good despite TH-cam's bitrate limitation, the 4K quality from the Insta360x3 when viewed in 4K is stunning. Again thanks for your great content, and I hope to have some new Insta360x3 and Instamic content soon.

Brilliant review! Thank you for sharing! I'm in between the Defender 3 & the Poseidon 3 but I'm not sure to fully understand how's the vent work on the Poseidon if this is a laminated fabric... Does it mean that the Gore-Tex layer sits behind the vent and sort of blocking the airflow? Or is the Gore-Tex layer sits on the top so the vent can air flow in right into the mesh and straight into the skin?

The Insta360 X3 will connect with the DJI Mic 2 over bluetooth. I believe the only shortcoming with that setup is if you power down either part you will have to reconnect them again in the settings.

That really good, just what I need to go with my X3. If you turn off camera and then back on, does it automatically pair again ?

Do you have to reconnect the Mic every time you turn on/off the camera?

Is Instamic dead, can't see anything on their website which is less than a few years old ?

A good combo is the INSTA360 X3 that you’ve got on your handlebars…plus the small INSTA360 GO 3 attached to your chin bar for POV shots

Hi, is that the tall triumph screen? With deflector on, curious about your opinion regarding clean air noise etc, I’m 6ft 2’ considering different options at the mo, I have the fly screen on my xc but would like more protection on long trips. Appreciate your opinion 🙂

I've heard the instamic when being used an audio recorder itself and it sounds good. Via bluetooth mode it sound's like the quality really suffers judging by the sound in this video. I get that it's handy though. Syncing in post really isn't a big deal these days until you have tons of footage.

Hi. Hope you are well. I’m the man I recommend you the instamic connected via Bluetooth to the X3 to send commands as “start recording”. I need a favour , please. I bought the instamic although I don’t have the X3 yet. People say that if… Let’s say I record one video only ( or 512gb on the sd card) and I didn’t edit it. Then I save it in my laptop and then onto the iCloud. And after I erase the sd card. The video is in the iCloud( I erase the video from the lap top for space reasons). After, when I decide to edit it, I bring it back from the iCloud to the computer to edit it. People say I can’t do that and that I need to edit it before I send to the iCloud I go 40 days on the rd in one go every summer. I feel very tired to start editing at night. @7:05 I disagree. I am 5'9 and I got a revit defender 2 set, some 4 years ago. I got the short pants first in size L and I had to send them back and get the regular. The shorties would lift over my short alpinestars boots when sitting on the bike. Maybe I have long legs for my height, who knows. Anyway, waiting now for the Poseidon 3 set (watching reviews as I am waiting for it :) ) and I guess I'll see if they fit.

Hi mate I bought the Instamic simply because of your recommendation and unfortunately I can't connect it to my insta 360 it can't detect it. Any suggestions? It comes uo on screen but just buffers when I tap

Just got the instamic. testing here but the audio is too loud. Will need to fix theis changing the gain. Will play with it now to find the best adjustment. Great video! Thanks!
