Day 1 - Wild Atlantic Way - Antrim Coast - Triumph Scrambler 1200xc

Yes I know the Antrim Coast Road isn’t part of the Wild Atlantic Way but my trip begins in Belfast and so I wanted to include this incredible stretch of road. I do pick up the WAW when I switch over into Co Donegal.

Over the next 6 days I’m planning to pack a lot in. So starting at Belfast all around the coast - North, West and South catching the boat home from Rosslare in the bottom right hand corner.
I’ll post the routes for each day.
These are not the definitive routes for the WAW - They’re kind of the edited highlights in order to make it possible to cover this much ground in 6 days. There’s much more to see in each section than I was able to cover. This trip is more of a taster - I know I’ll be back to focus on individual counties - there is so much to see.

I’ve based this trip on his guide - but have had to trim it back to make it rideable in 6 days - in doing so I’ve inevitably skipped some great bits - but I hope this series gives an overview and a hint of what the WAW is like.
