12:13 you could NOT have said this better. I live in SW PA and have been to CP multiple times, but always managed to miss out on TTD, and was super sad I never got to experience the original. So when I heard Ka might be going, I wasn't going to take my chance on missing out on the only other hydraulic strata because a ride like Ka and TTD will probably never be built again. I made the 5 hour drive to GADV on the last day of operation for Ka and the energy was unreal. There was so much love and care for each other that everyone had the entire night. Pretty much the entire 40 minute long queue was filled with just enthusiasts-- it genuinely felt like an ERT event like Holiwood Nights. I was meeting people from all over the country who came to say goodbye, chants were breaking out in line and on the trains passing by, the ride crew was flying with insane dispatches to let people have their final rides... Genuinely the #1 highlight of being a part of this community, an experience that I will NEVER forget. Dare I say that the energy of all of us who came together to give the ride a proper goodbye was worth the trip more so than the actual coaster... (I loved Ka, but I don't think I'll ever be able to experience anything like that night again in my life).

In 2026 Oklahoma is getting a new Theme Park called American Heartland I think that is what it is called.

I'd still consider 2020 to be worse for coaster enthusiasts than 2024.

It's sad how bad GA got screwed for its 50th. Flash doesn't open and then 4 attractions get removed. Including the world's tallest coaster. Basically they gave them a massive middle finger for even suggesting that they celebrate their 50th anniversary

The Kingda Ka closing rumor was allegedly leaked on SFGAdv’s website, before coaster enthusiasts were warning everyone about the rumor of it possibly happening, until SF confirmed it to be shut down for good. Some believed that was set to receive the TT2 treatment and others thought that it was a hoax.

Thanks for making this video! 2024 may not be the best year for the theme park industry, but at least we got new rides opening and debuting in theme parks and such! I really hope 2025 will bring the best for those new rides and such!

In my opinion, the safest places would be the concrete bathrooms that REEK of concentrated urine.

As someone with younger kids, I honestly wish six flags would get rid of the back breaking mine trains and put in a solid family friendly coaster with a longer ride time similar to big thunder mountain at Disney. Six flags seems to have rides for really young and older kids but nothing in between. My 5 year old would love a Batman themed big thunder mountain type ride.
