I went Saturday and it was absolutely packed. We sat in traffic for 30 minutes just to get to the parking booth! Had a great time though!

I’m in San Antonio right now

We need a Wing Coaster not a Giga Dive Coaster, and I live 18 minutes west of Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. I don’t mean to sound salty, but I think a wing coaster perfectly fits here.

Ok this may sound really random and weird but what if 2026 is gonna have some disappointing announcement for over texas like a retheme for pandemonium to a sonic the hedgehog retheme. Why this well sonic the hedgehog has a partnership with dc comics untill 2026, and 2026 is Sonic, the hedgehogs 35th anniversary, and Sega has been interested in partnership with a theme park. I think there is gonna be a sonic the hedgehog x six flags collab. pandemonium coasters/ spin coaster might get a rethemes for this collab.

I mean six flags over Texas should be top priority because it was the first park to open. It’s like they forgot about and moved on to the other ones.

your statement at 4:13 about fiesta already having a dive machine doesnt really work out. after being open since 1992 fiesta texas got a batman clone in 2008 while over texas had their batman clone since 1999, at one point in time both parks had a boomerange ride fiesta still having Boomerange opened in 1999 and over texas used to have one called flash back opened in 1989 but got removed and sent to st louis in 2012 to make room for a child play area. fiesta open the first ever 4D free spin in 2015 and over texas got a free spin in 2017, and then we go to the giant flat rides both parks have, both parks have a giant pendulum swing both named after the joker, as well as skyscreamer swings fiesta getting the worlds first then over texas getting a much taller one and that could be the pattern we see here fiesta getting the first Dive coaster and steppest (at that time) in texas and then over texas getting a much bigger one. these parks dont care what each one has. and i almost forget both parks have an arrow log flume, over texas having the worlds first arrow log flume and fiesta having bugs white water rapids.

Do you know how you were talking about runaway mountain I don’t think they would do an indoor/outdoor coaster even though it’s a good concept since last time I was there they repaired one of the alligators so it looks like they’re starting to repair the theming

Giga Dive sounds cool but I would rather have something like a New Vekoma launch coaster with airtime and inversions to go along with New Texas Giant. Add some Cedar Fair theming and then I will be pretty satisfied. 👍 You could do the same concept with Intamin, but Vekoma is generally more reliable and cheaper.

Even a mere year ago this would be laughed at, but now... the merger.

I definitely appreciate this style of roller coaster, but the last time I rode it, the rattle gave me a headache. The low capacity and the partial parking lot coaster setting give me hopes that they will replace it with something new while improving the landscaping around it and the park entrance. A launched family coaster would be an awesome replacement, but that plot of land is prime to open up a narrow green belt through a section of the parking lot and make a statement entry coaster, such as a Giga.

So when I heard Dive coaster as an option I immediately rolled my eyes. But a GIGA dive?? That's actually intriguing and kinda insane to think about. I would ultimately prefer an indoor themed coaster but the problem with that is that if it's low budget and nowhere near something like The Mummy... Just give me the giga instead

It used to be so beautiful!!!! I remember when all the animations worked. When you were waiting in lines, it was like watching a show. And the runaway mountain the water worked. The music and Mr.freeze used to work too

what about a giga dive coaster that goes into the dark.

I'm thinking the themed indoor coaster. I can't stand runaway mountain. I love rides in pure darkness but that ride HURTS like its a painful 30 seconds. Adding a really immersive indoor ride would level up the theming of the whole park. We have some amazing rollercoasters with texas giant and mr freeze so having more theming would rock.

A Giga dive tho? Why not just a regular Giga… I know they have Titan but still they could make it different and more airtime centric

I don't know how they could do it, but a game changer for SFOT would be to connect Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags with a monorail or something. Anyway, that's what I'd like to see. Fiesta Texas has their parks together like that.
