Dinosaurs play a major part of TX history. So while I can see the concept can be jarring, I wouldn’t say it’s out of left field. This isn’t the first time Dinosaurs have made an appearance at SFOT; remember Dino Island 3D? I wouldn’t be surprised if they kept some of the theming from that queue line
My only hope is that they don’t half a** the project like they’ve been known to do. It just boggles my mind for a park to be in the 4th largest metro in the US, would continue to produce attractions that are on par with a carnival in a parking lot of a dead mall
Great video, though I would like to bring up the dinosaur findings in Glen Rose TX as well as the fossil digs outside of Waco. So a dinosaur theme does strangely have a place in Texas. As for the Loony Tunes rides, I am happy to see the two newish attractions and hope that SFOT would go all out with the loonies as Fiesta has with the DC theming.
Nice video JB! This is pretty cool. I think what would be cool is if they used the tunnel from Speedy Gonzales, and out of the other side there will be Dinos, like a Time Machine? It would be nice.
I think that it is a bad idea to change the Chaparral cars to anything else. That's removing the history of the cars that were manufactured in Cleburne.
Great video, but I sadly doubt Six flags is going to put many more big investments into Over Texas until after 2028 when they gain the option to buy the remaining 46% interest. It makes little sense to pump up the value of the park if they're planning on buying it out completely. Hopefully the merger with cedar fair (and subsequently their corporate headquarters moving our of Arlington) doesn't result in the Astroworld treatment.
I’m trying to figure out why construction at all six flags parks are starting so late when theirs only 2 big roller coasters that are gonna be built them opening stuff in the middle of summer just blows my mind because they miss out on so much revenue by not getting it open by memorial day weekend
a lot of industries seem to be cutting corners and being lazy lately, missing normal deadlines and/or giving subpar results. Not sure why other than corporate greed, but it feels like a very sharp decline recently so I wonder what could have triggered it
The dinos are a dumb idea and makes no sense to me. Also, not sure why they couldn't move the ride removed for Daffy Duck to the Texas section of the park near Rodeo or New Texas Giant. They need more attractions, not less.

I expect this.

Dinosaur Park is in Glenrose,Texas
Good job! But for what it’s worth, Texas is top 10 state for dinosaur fossils.
dinos in texas is pretty on theme? we have dinosaur stuff all over the place here what do you mean out of left field lmao
yep
Not excited for Big Lizards
Small update
Dinosaurs mid May
one of the worst run parks

My son is pumped for the dino attraction. He’s 9 years old and I’m sure other kids are going to be happy.
Definitely the kids will enjoy it my only hope is they do the new ride good
Kids love the dinos. Grown people complaining about children’s attractions is next level cringe
