Is creat connect/ zip dj worth it to buy thought of buying it so cpuld recommend it ?

Take my advice and don't give ZipDJ any of your money. I signed up in good faith on a direct debit plan, but after using it for a short while I wasn't happy with the music selection and cancelled my membership. I was surprised to see that c£400 had been debited from my account a few months ago and have been banging my head against a wall trying to deal with this absolute scam of a business ever since. I have tried several times to get a refund, as I thought I'd cancelled the service and hadn't used it in over 12 months, but they just fob me off with "it's been referred to management" or similar, but it never gets anywhere. I have also tried to get them to confirm that my account has now been cancelled, as I have requested this several times now to avoid being charged again, but they just blank me. DO NOT sign up for this service. Its customer service is beyond awful and you will no doubt find that you're signed up for life, whether you want to be or not. Genuinely one of the worst experiences I have had as a consumer, and I don't say that lightly.

Hi Karl, this is a good video, I did something very similar yesterday. Just a small comment here, you have to provide enough power to FLX4, not use an iphone adapter but a mac or ipad one (at least 15watts I believe)

I have a problem that every single one that is not a streaming service require that I provide proof I am a DJ. Problem is I am doing this because my 8 yo wanted to become a DJ and we are learning together. Neither me or my 8 yo is a DJ. So what pool can we use if not streaming service? Is online record stores only option left or are there any pools we can use?

Hi karl. Done a 60th birthday Saturday evening, got a playlist for wat they wanted eg 70,s/80,s .a room with about 80people or so. Only 10 people danced ,I was told no irish ballads&no rave/dance songs. Is it normal that 90%people didn't dance 🤔 is it there prefence. 99% of gigs I have full floor, just that night thought wud have had more .thanks dermo 😊

Great advice I found going to a gig with another D.J. and just helping them taught me loads now I do my own gig's and have people help me out it's a great learning curve

Good video. I can connect my DDJ-FLX4 via Bluetooth with my Ipad 9. But when I try it via cable the Ipad and Rekordbox do not find the controller. I tried it with the Ipad 10 (USBC) and then it worked. But it did not work with my Ipad 9 (Lightning). Could you help?

MixMeister is still better for multiple reasons: (1) you can add label markers which are essential to phrase alignment and re-editing, (2) you don’t have to endure updates every time you open it, and (3) it doesn’t require a supercomputer to work.

I've loved vinyl turntables since the late 70's on my 4th pair, long story lol

So im new to djing and what i am understand because i just want to be able to mess around and eventually play some dj sets it sounds like zip dj and bpm supreme is the best options this correct also my biggest question is as a new dj whats more important either have pro/paid version of a daw so like serato dj pro for example or have a digital dj pool of music

Great review. My 2 cents: in relation to the AZ - as you hinted, something that could have probably been brought out a while ago and now misses many of the tech and creative features of others' including the GRV6. Maybe with GRV6 AT are hinting at the future? That controller has it all and is useful unless you need the stand alone capability of the AZ. It also has a better sound card than the FLX10 (which in my opinion does not sound great given its price). Bottom line for me, the AZ whilst good value in comparison to separates is still not great value considering how far tech has moved on in the last few years. The FLX10 doesn't have the groove circuit, although does have a high gloss finger print magnet mixer section and a lower quality sound output than the GRV6! The GRV6 is very minimalist but from a specification and features point of view, may well prove the best investment for most bedroom / semi pro DJs in the future as the residual value will probably be quite strong. It seems we're quickly moving to creative, expressive DJing that the GRV6 supports better and cheaper overall than the rest, especially given standalone units do not have the computing power integrated to cope with STEMS etc. In summary, it seems we're in a period of change and unless you're a pro playing in clubs regularly, surely you'd be mad to invest in expensive outdated tech?

Some CFXs can be applied without playing music! Btw, your voice pace is spot on! Good for those who are non native English speaker like me👍

How many of them effects do you get on serato pro? Im looking at getting a flx4 bundle with speakers etc and the website im looking at says they throw in serato pro as part of the bundle. Great video by the way.
