You can change the tempo range, you press shift and beat sync/ tempo range, gives you standard 8 16 50. Also if you press shift and smart color fx it turns it into a reverb instead of that echo/filter. And if your ever using sync, instead of turning it off from the laptop you can hold down beat sync and double press shift and it will turn off sync. 🤙🏼

Thank you for tutor this lite version of Serato which is almost everybody else skip it for tutoring the Pro version. TBH it's very limited and I'm just happy with the unlock version of rekordbox with DDJ 400, and if I have to pay money then I shall buy Virtual DJ Pro version.
I really like the sound quality of the stems feature using Serato compared to Rekordbox, there is no comparison. I also like the UI of Serato better. Other than that, Rekordbox seems like a better option for me.
I learnt and mixed vinyl years ago and wanna get into it again butnot clued up tech wise so thanks! Will I be able to record mixes off this controller ? I’ve got an iPad Pro and can you use tracks from vinyl I’ve ripped to use on Rekord box?
As I mention in this video. With Serato you cannot record mixes on the light version. With rekordbox you can however this is on a laptop, not sure on a tablet. Rekordbox can work with ripped tracks if the files are stored locally yes.

I made this video for beginners who may want to experiment with the free version of the software and also may want to compare to rekordbox.
To switch from Vinyl Mode to CDJ Mode, just hold down the Shift button, then tap the Loop Out button

How do you record video and audio at the same time (out put from Controller) am useing FLX10 i need to record a set plz replay
So for TH-cam, I screen record and then record music on rekordbox and then sync in post production
