Why Do These Games Not Exist?
not every game needs to be live-service to make money, why not just make the games people want instead??

Games are getting way too big. So big, in fact, that it's getting harder almost to have multiple games on a single console or on a harddrive. This needs to change. How Valheim Outsmarted All SURVIVAL Games!
Genuine question: is DS3 good? I’ve only ever really heard about the first game, and I know a lot of people don’t like DS2
idk ds3 is really easy actually
The game is SawXYugioh. Then when you think you win, its inception, the video game.
It was really fun until I did everything I could to do and I had no way but to wait for updates
How amazing I played dark souls 1 and I don't know how to jump or run roo 😂 it's like street fighter's manual mode
I have spent more time on a single save then 100% kirby and the forgotten lands
The first boss was pretty easy the first time i beat him was with a dagger
The poor soul actually destroying the whole univers 20 hours later
It took me 20 tries to beat the first boss
188AAA games on my steam lobrary only 3 finshed
First two minutes of dark souls 3 in one minute
Fun fact: i figured out how to kick before how to jump
I literally beat the soul of cinder last night and I'm finally the vessel I was suppose to be.
A multi layer pun 😂 I'm going to start using that
Dark souls 3 is literally impossible. ☠️
The worst part of this game? Those stupid monsters that turn stupidly invisible and throw stupid things at you.....whenever I encounter one, I RUN
The last one is too relatable 😂😂😂 " wait i just run pass them" here's where you are addicted😂😂
Wow from hearty
That first first jump took me like 10 tries. As well as the first boss, lol
when i learned the concept of suicide runs in ds1, it changed the whole game for me
All i do there is fish for hours lol
Me, 13 hours into playing a game for the first time: This is so fun!!! i have to sleep i will play this tomorrow. tomorrow me: Mmm... Later. me in 10 years: ... Later.
Exactly this. It seems I just like to find out the basic mechanics and idea of a game and then it isnt interesting anymore. Black myth wukong is the only recent game i played for longer, but still. Beat the final boss and started the fight for the true ending. After the first try I had to go to sleep. 2 weeks past, havent touched it since but started another 3 games, also not finishing them.
Bro is on a “heavy attack only” run
Moment at the end got me laughing very hard =)))
This is exactly how I played and I just turned my phone on wtf😂😂😂
Kill everything once. Then just shield up and run. One of the best strategies in my opinion
My library cycle usually comprises of Bioshock 1/Infinite, Gran Turismos 1-3, Fallout3/NV, GTA IV, and Mechwarrior. While the stories, sans GT, are obviously compelling and some of the most celebrated in gaming, I tend to solely gravitate towards a fun gameplay loop and the 'struggle' of the first half of a game. The late-game stage in 95% of games is pretty dull and monotonous imo, and while I have beaten most of these titles at least once, rarely ever do I even get near the end of a campaign nowadays. Buut I also have just as much trouble beginning and completing tasks outside of gaming, so it may be the only way I know how to still enjoy it at 28.
I think you're heavily overestimating the creative possibilities that a fighting game can provide, IPs like ATLA are largely defined by their worlds as much as their characters, something which cannot be done justice via soulless stages in a fighting game. Not to mention the fact that the barrier of entry for any fighting games is extremely high because fighting game players are sweatier than even FPS players, any new player who wants to pick up a fighting game because they like the characters will get their excitement juggled out of them in the first few games. Also, if you want to tell a story, a fighting game's gotta be one of the worst options to do it in my opinion. To tackle these big worlds and characters, you gotta go open world RPG.
Oh yeah an RPG is definitely the best option if you want to tell a story. But that's not what I'm talking about. While so many people would love that (me included), I explicitly mention an avatar fighting game because I personally think that would be awesome, and with me so many other people probably would too. Story and world are a large part of ATLA, but the elements are perfect for a fighting game as well. So why not both?
It did exist; Avatar Legend of the Arena was a great game back in the day, but died eventually. I hear a fighting game is coming out next year, but who knows how good it will be. Guess we will see.
Didn't know that! Hope the game next year is good. I need it to be lol
The Avatar Universe is so vast and iverse across so much time that there's endless possibilities. Especially considering where Azula left off we could get an RDR2 style game that leaves it up to player whether she gets redeemed or not. That way no ending for her is canon and everyone can stick to their favorite interpretation of her. Also I'd love a story driven game set in the ASOIAF universe.
Hopefully one day!
ATLA game would be dream come true for so many! It has got so much potential for a great open world RPG with wonderful story and compelling characters. I vision switching between elements in combat kinda like switching between stances in Ghost of Tsushima
For sure! That would be incredible
Cool video, but you lost me the moment you said "fighting game". Sorry, not a fan!
That's fair, not everyone's cup of tea!
Incredibly good take
Thanks!
it gets worse, at 20,000 feet you are in The Dead Zone. 10,000 feet is known as The Tree Line; wherein nothing greally can grow at that elevation and higher. 20K plus there is ZERO oxygen. Zero oxygen plus -22 degrees ferenheit means Columbia is a dead artic hellscape
Man I would LOVE a great ATLA game, something story based that plays like youd imagine it would. Maybe thats too much to ask for though :(
I agree! The guy, Elca, that's making the Four Seasons game in Dreams IT LOOKS SO GOOD
Making games is long and expensive task and not every CEOs or important people in some possition that could make games understand them, which makes it hard to actually make games for some big company + if they don't understand games they won't know which are good and which games would the fandom want.
I thought you were talking about Colombia for a second lol
lmao that's why, in the long-form video, i make sure to make the distinction lol
do you play any live-service games?
TF2 was only good "live-service" game.
SirShelfu, awesome content keep it up dude
Thank you!
Depends on the layer of the atmosphere they float in
Or… it’s a video game
Wow
DS3 is arguably the easiest souls game other than demon souls, revisiting after Elden ring makes it very apparent
He sees plasmids, a deep sea city, a flying city and decided the flowers were too much😂
Ey gotta stay realistic you know. Gotta draw the line somewhere 😂

Tbf tho Bioshock 1 does do a good job at explaining how everything works and how that city functions. Most of the levels explain stuff about how they get oxygen (Arcadia) and stuff like that. Columbus just… doesn’t really have that.
Considering the scifi bs i just assumed they also made a portable atmosphere around Columbia
That definitely sounds plausible!

considere comparing septims to a gold bar, which is worth 100 Septims in game. Assuming it's like early US gold Dollars or ancient Roman currency, that means we can safely say that a septim is exactly 1/100 of an Imperial Pound, whatever that means. No point in comparing it to real world gold prices, buying power is all that matters. though it seems gold in Tamriel is comparable to copper or silver on earth in terms of value and rarity. Which makes the prices of goods and services make much more sense. That's really interesting. Just checked, 1/100 of a troy pound would amount to a 3.732 gram gold coin. Just over a 1/10 troy oz, or 2 American Gold Dollar coins. Making Septims about the size of a US dime. And used similar to the original Pound Sterling, a Silver coin. So it's definitely, logically consistent with historical systems of currency. That's solid world building!
Wow that's actually solid. Very interesting!
You could have just posted the “You Die” screen and that would’ve said enough 😂
I seem to remember trees growing in later areas of the game as well, and I could be totally wrong but I think there's like a bubble surrounding the floating islands that once you cross things get really bad. Since you see multiple versions of Colombia throughout the game I can't quite remember the reason, but I definitely think it's safe to assume the temperature isn't too cold simply from the beaches not freezing...I mean unless that's not water. I also wouldn't put it past most people or even the flowers to have some kind of plasmid that makes them resistant to cold considering you can freeze and set people on fire with potions they sell and any nearby carnival :) anyway love the game theories and would love to see more and bioshock infinite is one of those gems I'll never get tired of seeing
Yeah there's definitely some stuff going on haha I have a few more bioshock ones in mind for sure, should probably play through the whole thing again though to remember everything properly
Those are pus of man, humanity taking a mutated grotesque form.
You are not allowed to mute powerwash sim COMPLETELY or you'll miss the best part (the ping).
EXACTLY. The ping is what I live for (we should play this again sometime while we wait for satisfactory)
