I did enjoy it until my follower died in a mission and I hadn't saved midway, she was carrying most of my equipment and goods so I lost almost all my progress, and I didn't want to restart the mission and neither starting from zero.
I can't stand that you can change difficulties in game. Why we don't have an option to set difficulty that is unable to change after you start the game. Whats the point of potions, foods, poisons and everything when you can just change game difficulty when you want and still have them? You simply don't need to think, use tactics or anything, everything just feels like a waste of time when you can just change difficulty and voila all done. In my opinion this is by far the worst thing in this game and removes all the fun for me.
Its not for everyone. I find it very good. One of my first favorite games, and I have some fond memories. Shit changed sooo much when I started modding it, though.

I can definitely have an opinion after playing for 12 hours. In those 12 hours I learned that medieval RPGs are not my thing.. I'd say 12 hours is a lot of time to form an opinion like that.
I tried to play Skyrim a long time ago and although I dedicated something like 100 or 200 hours to it, there came a point where the game really fed me up to begin with, the difficulty is VERY artificial No matter how much you level up, a guy with a Macdonald's axe and Burger King armor will always be stronger than you. What takes away any feeling of progress then are the missions that have almost no impact on the map, no matter what you do the map will look the same and without counting the bugs in the missions After a point the game becomes boring with missions like go and collect 20 carrots and 80 potatoes without counting other flaws such as the boring combat and the little role this game has. A game that is only good with mods is not a good game :) Sorry for my english
yeah for me I just feel like I can't enjoy skyrim ever...I wanna enjoy it since everyone say that it's the best game ever but I just can't really enjoy.....when I play it, it just feels extremely boring....the combat, the story, the graphics and people say that this game is beautiful when literally 90% of them playing this game with 300 mod list.....I just don't understand why people like this game so much....and some people did ask me "do you enjoy minecraft? cuz if you don't enjoy minecraft you will not enjoy skyrim" while actually minecraft is my favourite game ever.....and at the end of the day I think I just need to leave the game and move on cuz I don't think there's another way for me to enjoy this game....unless I put like 1000 files of mods into it lol........btw the only good magic games are magicka 2 and wizard of legends that's it

Compared to previous Elder Scrolls games it's RPG elements have been stripped out, there are no meaningful choices to be made, There is like 1 or 2 interesting characters, the rest have no character they're just npcs to fill the world. The combat is just downright bad and clunky. People said to play it with mods so i did but it's still Skyrim. I like rpgs but Skyrim is not an rpg or it's an extremely poor one. I think it says a lot when the only people who say they love the game are those who have so many mods installed the game is unrecognizable. That's not a good thing, it shows you wanted to be as far from the original game as much as humanely possible and why is that?.
