@@cianwalker1829 for dealing with shields, i Ram my ship to it, which usually destroys it, then i overwhelm their healing ability by spamming the mod shards.

Yes, with the caveat that you use Frontier's offer to convert your console CMDR to PC, which will also get you a free PC copy of the base game (which includes Horizons), and then using GeForce Now to play the game on your console in better resolutions and specs that you would otherwise. Or use a capably specced PC if you have that instead. It will copy most things but not all, check the Frontier support page for more details of what will and will not transfer.

I started with a Challenger with an ax cannon, now I can buy the corvette but I don't really know what to get in terms of weapons. THANKS

if you are looking for money, try changing out ur guardian weapons to enhanced AX stuff and go for spire sites. They give alot of money these days from what iv'e heard.

No, you do not require Odyssey DLC to get access to engineers. Horizons is enough. Odyssey is required only for on-foot engineering and all its related stuff.

Haven't played in a while and i got my fed rank along time ago so im not sure how it is done these days. But this is what reddit says in 2023: Get a small or medium ship with minimum 13.7 Ly jump range then head to Perry's Folly in Ochosi system. Pick up data delivery missions from Federation factions only to Chargaff Installation or Williams Dock in Chakpa. Fly to Chargaff Installation drop off mission. Pick up any data delivery missions back to Perry's Folly in Ochosi. Fly back to Perry's Folly in Ochosi to drop off missions. Repeat. Be on the lookout for mission named “Federal Navy…” which will allow you to rank up. This seems boring but faster.

Gotta become a mailman. Make lots of data delivery drops. It can be done in about 12 hrs.
