Falcon has an export brace on the shock towers. I have never seen a car that came with one but I guess in Mexico they did. That timing cover is 63 to 67, in 68 they changed where the timing pointer goes.
It is the same all over the world. Those guys want to much for their crunchy old stuff. Bargains are hard to find. The red truck cabin was SWEET. OF course it is sold.
That will be almost impossible. When the police are done with their vehicles they go straight to the junk yard. I am not sure if it was the same in the '70's though but I bet it was.
Please remind the people in Mexico .....they have forgotten " Our Lady at Guadalupe " is God the Mother ....the Church has lost the faith that Jesus Christ is God who always existed....cheers ....great vid and great channel ....Jay. aka CarsRcool channel : )
Haha man that’s exactly it. Been looking at the TKX 5 speed and 347 from blueprint engines. Car needs some floor pieces replaced but these things are getting harder to find. I’ll be making a video on it soon!
Not much there. Very messy yards to work in. We always kept our yard very tidy. Way too easy to get hurt when it is a mess like that. We had around 350 whole body cars and a few hundred stacked in piles.
Cool. Keep plugging away there are still gems to be found.
Thanks appreciate it!
Man the hood on that Ford is valuable. I built a 68 Bumpside for my wife on my channel. The 67 - 72 F series is my favorite
Very cool! I love the bumpside trucks. Someday I’ll own a highboy!
Great video
Fun to see!
Great to see a youngster going along for the experience. Maybe he'll be ready to get hooked up with a project when he gets to driving age.
Haha yes need to get the youngsters involved
That was a pretty cool adventure.
Agreed! Someday I’ll find something!
@0:40 Nice one for the other vehicle to not overtake you whilst you turn across the into the driveway.
That Falcon is haunting you. It is hard to say where that Bondo stops.
Yep!
Haha agreed, that bondo is what worries me. The ford maverick is very popular in the area, I think im aiming toward one of those.

Love junkyard hunting.
I could be there all day hahaha I bet I’d find more stuff!
that is so cool....did you drive a rental car when you were there ? Jay.
It is best to buy the heavy stuff closer to home.
Haha yes, I will be back in Mexico in June!
@@OmarRamirezGalaxie You must love the heat.
What I would love to find is a old Mexican police Duster or Dart...
That would be amazing, I’m hoping to come across something cool

@mexicanspec imagine you are right.
Dude I wanna go sometime!
Definitely next time!
La reversa también cuenta 4 arriba o abajo
Very nice! Please tell me, do you know if there are junkyards there with VW beetles?
Thanks!
Yes there’s lots of VWs there, always see them driving around. I’m sure there’s a lot of parts for them there

Omar, saw your teaser this morn on the ‘64 Cyclone you found. What are the plans at this point?
I plan to take this one to willow springs raceway! Will need some work to get it ready but for now I’d like to get it running and driving
@@OmarRamirezGalaxie 347/500HP? 5 speed?

dang I'd of come home broke 😂
Haha I think if I took a closer look I’d get more stuff. Next time!
Interesting video ! Not quite clear on the math 200 pesos = $15 & 150 pesos = $8 ???
My mistake, 200 pesos is $12

hi Omar, did you install the 428 in the Galaxie yet?
Not yet John, ran into some issues with the engine. I’ll update when it’s fixed. I’ve been itching to get it on the street already
@@OmarRamirezGalaxie is it a minor problem? Curious to know
Man, that Falcon was over-priced. Worth more like $600, not $6,000.
Haha yeah, if it was $600 I’d buy it in a heartbeat
