Those that compare BGC to NYC have not been to NYC

Agree with you on that. The only re similarity I see is the grid style block layout for the streets

Ridiculous to even compare. NY city is obviously bigger but not necessarily better than BGC. BGC without the honking cars, homeless people, muggers, rats, trash and smell of piss here and there. Did I mention the difference in weather year-round? BGC over NYC for me.

I like NYC. That's why I sent my daughter there to study. But right after she finished her studies, she left New York. She loves BGC more than NYC and occasionally spends time having fun with her friends there even up to 2am. In NYC, she seldom went out at night. My daughter said that while NYC is bigger and has great vibes, BGC is much more organised, safer and cleaner.

@RainierEsguerra-h4k yea they're not really comparable. Nyc is a melting pot and a real big city made up of different boroughs and neighborhoods. Bonifacio global city is like a fenced in house community, but the city version. They both have their pros and cons, but definitely different flavors

@TheNYCexpat to be fair there are nice sidewalks in some places in Makati City, as well as Alabang down south. Maybe we can collaborate some day to show other cool places in Metro Manila and beyond!
