RED RISING LET’S GO 🐌
I just love your edits❤
Pat finnerty makes the best videos on this damn cite imo
ugh thank you for reminding me not to overspend on games and books...also its cool to see other people joining on the pewdiepie's book club for this year! would definitely love to hear your thoughts on finishing it by the end of this year :-)
Oh my goodness, this was SO INTERESTING! The Japanese convenient stores looked liked an absolute dream experience. I'm in Canada, and I can honestly say I haven't purchased anything from our convenience stores in about 10 years- I simply cannot afford it! My most frequent stop for chips and candy here is honestly at the drugstore- the candy frequently goes on sale, and their chips are $1 CND for a medium sized bag- my favorite flavor is cheddar and sour cream! 😋
Lol exactly what we needed on a day like today. A snail mail
Incredible video!! Much respect for all the research you put into this :)
Hey Cary :3 i love ur videos and i just wanted to let u know that Balatro isnt a poker game 👍🏼 its more of a strategic deck builder as u also mentioned
You had me at Kung Pow's "That's a lot of nuts!" A few opinions about your opinions: Civil War - Looking up the the movie's description, I got the impression it'd be a silly cheesy bad-but-enjoyable over-the-top action movie, like Escape From NY/LA. Boy, was I not ready for what it actually was... Michael Reeves - He's a good one. I recommend you check out more of his videos. He's chaotic, but in a good way. There's something satisfying about watching an engineer do whatever he wants because he has the skillet to do so. A similar channel you should look into is Stuff Made Here. Video games - I'm a gamer and I purchased one game this year. It's not a metric. Free games, games you already own, and piracy exist.

Dude I see tons of guys on here, but you, you’re my favorite guy dude. Nice!
Civil war was a great movie, also I absolutely love Ethen Cain's youtube channel and all her wild videos, they're new and fascinating in a different way every time. Top 3 movies: The Substance, Strange Darling, Ghostlight probably. a lot of good movies this year so other two could be swapped, but The Substance was just an all timer for me. Games: Mouthwashing, Tactical Breach Wizards, and it's not new but I played Life is Strange for the first time and really loved that. Albums: I'm bad at keeping up with music, but i really loved the new JPEGMAFIA album, SMILE by Porter Robinson, and i'm bisexual so if course I loved BRAT.
that map is just the British Isles... I knew it was bad, but not THAT bad
Really amazing to see millions of people picking up Taoist philosophy because of a PewDiePie 😂 I hope it’ll lead more people to check out eastern philosophy. A great follow-up would be the Dhammapada :)
idk where in the rankings it is, but your skateboarding video is definitely in my top three youtubes of the year
A few of my Top 3’s Music 1. Crawler, IDLES 2. Bando Stone and the new World, Childish Gambino 3. Shields, Grizzly Bears Games 1. Balatro 2. Vampire Survivors 3. Loop Hero Books 1. Light Bringer (so glad you are finishing the Red Rising Trilogy!) 2. Project Hail Mary 3. Children of Dune
mr snail you're so right
Fuck yes just when I was thinking of what (audio)books to read(listen) this year 👌🏻
top youtube videos should be a standard
Love the videos but its 20 past midnight for so ill watch this tomorrow. Have a good 2025!
Oh my goodness Cary, I LOVED this video! So much variety, and I love listening to you "yap" and hearing what you have to say! I'll need to check out your 7 eleven video soon when I get a chance... I love chips! 😊 I found it extremely interesting that you included a top 3 list of favorite youtube videos... that was so unique and incredible! I've never seen anyone else do that. I'm in the same boat where I consume youtube videos in place of tv shows as well. It was really interesting to hear your perspective on the preference of seeing what PEOPLE create, produce, and post- as opposed to shows... I wholeheartedly agree with that! No idea how you picked a top 3 list for youtube videos though- there are SO MANY videos on youtube that are incredibly impactful, educational, and entertaining. Obviously I loved the book segment! I didn't know you were Asian American either, so that was really cool to learn something about you. I actually have Atomic Habits sitting on my TBR bookshelf in my living room next to my reading chair... I think I should bump it up closer to the top! 😃 Also wanted to mention- you are the ABSOLUTE BEST at delivering an advertisement without making it feel like one! You did so when you made your "snail membership" video, and you did it AGAIN here- I'm certain Aura is going to be impressed af!!! I laughed so hard at the Adidas slide sandals too, and those video game skeleton things that looked a bit like "Sinistar" from the 1982 arcarde game era LOL!!! Again, AWESOME video!!! I'm looking forward to the next time you come out of your shell, as well as browsing back through some of your existing ones that I either haven't seen yet, or some of the ones that are favorites of mine! 😊
YESSSSSSS JPEG 🔥🔥🔥 was so overlooked
Wake up, everyone! New Cary 🎉🎉🎉
This combined my three favourite things: Media, Lists, and Radiohead. Thank you Mr. Snail

I made that same connection with Howls Moving Castle, I just think Rhys more like howl
I believe this novella was written before there was officially going to be another installment in the series (since Feyre’s storyline had kinda ended) but I don’t know for certain. Might explain the drift from SJM’s normal style.
Yea Iron Flame is a bridge book. I have a feeling the expansion of those characters will happen in book 3
A GAME THEORY!!!
Jack Barlow will now and forever be in my mind - j bizzler
god damn dude you got your finger on the pulse of quality videos
I want to try doing this for at least a week and I know I'm going to hate it but hey, I'm going to try anyway LOL
I'm gonna be honest. This book made no damn sense, I get the whole she lives in a totalitarian dictatorship, but you wouldn't just go around killing potential infantry for the sake of killing them. The verbiage used seems like it came from 2009 teenage girl. I'm just not a fan of this book at all.
You are right. Most people love trash tho. I think this book is the 50 Shades of this gen
the last 100 pages of a sarah j maas novel is just "hey what could possibly go wrong at this exact moment?"
As someone who never watched Gilmore Girls but was 100% obsessed with Supernatural back in the day, you saying "Dean" and then showing SAM WINCHESTER fuckin threw me XD
The Last Dab with the spicy talk made it so much better XD
If you haven't read the sands of Arawiya by Hafsah Faizel, I recommend it heavily.
Great video!
I really appreciate the effort in creating the male versions of the songs lol
Not sure if anyone else has said this or if you actually ARE curious or if it was just for the Bit (valid and wouldn't make me mad): The whole "climbing like a tree" thing IS a real thing ladies say sometimes. To the best of my knowledge, it is a reference to hopping up onto and wrapping her legs around a man's hips ("climbing" onto him) and/or grabbing and pulling down on his back as if trying to pull her body upwards in relation to his, especially when experiencing intense pleasure. This, as far as I know, is mostly a fascination with a strong back and therefore a strong, ahem, particular forward motion. So while your pose and the idea of her building rope swings off of his arms was absolutely hilarious and I did laugh aloud, I think what she actually means is that she wants him to support her weight and do The Thing at the same time. This video was fantastic and I loved your editing and I laughed several times, thank you for this!
The way corporations have brainwashed us to be afraid and uncomfortable with our own thoughts is insane. Please everyone log off much more often.
This is the funniest review I have ever come across 😂 definitely gonna have to subscribe after the hot sauce spicy scene description
As someone with adhd as a woman this is absolutely how we think if we speak it. I’m like a computer with a bunch of open tabs so I’ve got ten responses that might come out like a slew of comedic timing and sheer confusion if you don’t get my references due to their obscurity.
Rebecca definitely just sums up in two sentences that she forgave violet. All because violet gives Sloan Liam’s letters saying how great Vi is. So she’s like, oh okay! Guess Vi is great and I was wrong and as an angsty teenager I’m so over it immediately with zero reflection on if I actually like her. I have an older brother and even if he wrote to tell me his friends was great I would be like…so she betrayed you when you were basically forced to protect her? I’d still be unsure how to feel even if people made me feel bad for blaming someone. Sloan should’ve continued to be upset and Violet definitely needed to sit her down and tell her the story of what happened. Tell her how much she loved and respected her brother. Probably could’ve even built a beautiful bond for their love of Liam and the loss of his presence. Finding solace in one another to say what he would’ve said had he been there. Also telling her at her lowest violet saw Liam while being tortured. She saw him as an older brother in a way too and doesn’t blame Sloan for being angry or hating her. Soooo much could’ve written into their relationship that helps us as readers move on from Liam’s death. I’m still broken over that.
Ngl yes about climbing men like trees. The idea that men who are taller than you take work to win. Just like men want to win women’s affection, we went to earn it too. So I feel like it’s a double reference to the work it takes to overcome men we find appealing and threatening at the same time. A tree is unhindered by you climbing it, and it’s enjoyable to climb higher than you would normally be. I look at my man personally who’s not much taller and I feel that same way. I want to literally be held as he walks around his daily life and snuggle up into his neck. I would live there, and I would be completely content if the world didn’t find it so weird lol. One because I earned my climb and two because it’s a turn on to be that close to the person your most attracted to. The urge to cuddle and be lifted up as a woman personally is very much at the top of my agenda daily.
My main gripe with the book is that the times we expected development was just met with more adolescent dialogue. Something I'd expect from an Adult Swim drama, as the most mature similarity. I'm watching this a week before Onyx Storm releases, REALLY HOPING it patches these things up or develops into something better
