    Very nice. Will also like to see the awning setup.

      Thank you, the awning setup is an experiment at the moment, we need to take it out and test it on the road a bit, but we will be sure to post a video on it as soon as we can. The idea is to get it to sit lower when driving and then raise it up when parked, but also keep it light weight and strong 🤔

    your work is so professional - very impressive! Thanks also for the links, I may be changing some of the parts I used on my build with the ones that you used ;-)
    That's great use of the right hand side hatch for the plumbing ... It really is a great addition to the newer trailers!

    Thanks for this, I am currently designing my own Trailer for our Jimny and I was scratching my head a little bit around the water system, and how to get water in and out and purified.

      @@fooshadventure As you are aware I have ditched the idea of building my own trailer and just bought a new trailer instead.
      So Now I am back looking at some of your video's.
      Can you perhaps share the link or place where you got the water purifier from. I am not at the water system yet. But if it needs some power I need to cater for it from the get go. so i need to get some specs on it.
      Thanks.

      Hi Barend, congrats on the trailer, it is surely a quicker way to getting out and enjoying nature. I will forward the links to the inline filter we used and the 12v pump to you. Look forward to seeing how you customise the trailer for your needs.

    Awesome work guys! I'm amazed you haven't got much more subscribers, surely will come with time with such quality video production.
    When drilling for the water ingest and vent, is it ACM on the walls or Aluminum with the internal and external pain coats? Cheers!

      Thanks for the compliment Martin. The steel is C3R12 Stainless. Its powdercoated. We live at the coast so corrosion resistance was important.

      @@fooshadventure Thanks for clarifying that I was misled by the dark and clear layers sandwich. Looking forward for the aventures with the Genie, regards from New Zealand.

    I like the look of that quick connect tap. Where did you source it? I've purchased a used genie (v1) so I am finding your videos very useful. Thanks!

    • @fooshadventure
      @fooshadventure  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback. The tap is a locking tap, we had it already from our frontrunner tank we used to have on our roof rack, so they are available from front runner, but we have also seen them cheaper at building supply and agricultural stores in ZA. We used the 1/2" GAV quck connects onto this to enable the removal of the tap, they are available from Builders, livestainable or any hydraulics supplier should be able to supply.

    Hi, can I ask where you sourced the sliders that appear around 7:47

    • @fooshadventure
      @fooshadventure  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tjaart, they are available from Furnlock in SA, they come in different lengths, all the details on their online shop. www.furnlock.co.za
