Halo does not need a battle pass, battle royale, armor cores, etc. halo needs to be left as Halo, a game meant to play and enjoy as a complete product on launch, with the staples that make Halo Halo. Trying to make something that is inherently not Halo fit into a Halo game is just asking to have a lesser version of something. Streamers may think trend chasing is the only way to make a game, but it’s a good idea to remind yourself that their opinions are irrelevant to what makes a good game.
-service game -game never complete upon release -simplistic level design -repetitive game design -no thoughts given to the players -lowered challenge -story written not to hurt or shock anyone. -more beautiful game but less immersive because it is not very interactive, fixed object and decors. we cant feel this world -AI which has been stagnating for years which no longer surprises us. -Sense of details less and less taken into account in games. - questionable character design -empty open worlds in excess. Here are some of the reasons.
I hope you see this bro. The reason why these games suck is the maps. And the worst part is when they are too lazy to make new maps, so they port the old ones that every one loves, but they DO NOT fit in the game at all. And by the time Halo 10 comes out, we will hate all of those old maps that we once loved. Halo Studios is a part of the scam
As someone who is happy with the ending and overjoyed with the overall story, I can't recommend enough a series of videos called "The Message of Attack on Titan". It's by a channel called SSShamimi. Genuinely the best and most comprehensive exploration of the show I have found (and I've watched a *lot*) although the series is ongoing.
Funny how they don’t mention that players will have to pay for it instead of leaving it as players choice
2 years late but still gonna respond. Look, people are have already been noticing a drop in quality in nearly every form of media. Not go such a degree (for now) as the gaming industry, but the others are following. People are listening to music that are at least 5 years old, it's currently a steadily growing trend. Heck even I have gone so far as to listen to 1950s radio shows because it turns out there are some shows from back then that were of great quality. I'm 26 right now, I got into these old radio shows when I was 22/23.
Are you releasing a video to talk about Halo moving over to the Unreal 5 engine?
We can’t let over a million spartans die out like this.. someone hire a coder to bring it back!!
16:13 i feel you I deactivated my steam account and I don’t care anymore I’m tired of this temptation each year for a good game worth the money to continue out …
I agree ✔️
It’s something about the jumping frames. I notice I subconsciously started jumping more at the end of my gunfights.
Nice to have you back, i hope you're well my man!
goat channel man
😂
Yeah I’ve never once had this issue sounds like a lot of excuses for skill issue. The “behind the wall” thing is just an optical illusion you die before turning the wall but ur body keeps moving so it looks like u were behind the wall. Also no one I’ve met had this issue
dude, make more frequent videos please. ;) there are plenty of things in the industry to cover. Always appreciate your takes
10:40 the games are a security risk
I address that in the video.
Activision has it out for the MW2 PC community lol.
It's true that we can still go play the original MW/MW2, but those servers aren't going to be up forever. Enjoy it while it lasts
Activision: spreads their cheeks and pushes out a fat terd. Buy our shit! Classic fans who make good contemt out of love and support for a bad franchise: play our game.
This video is spot on well said very good points. It just sucks man I was hyped for h2m I wish they would just us a real MW2-3 OG games and we all will be happy.
The main reason why I love the older cods but don’t play them is because the older games are still being sold at FULL price. Which is insane. Paying full price for an old game that barely has players doesn’t sit right with me.
They retaliated towards the mods and waited deliberately for the sale to end. This is what Activi$ion does and I’m tired of pretending it isn’t. Stop defending them. You’re contradicting yourself multiple times, blud
I think you missed the mark with the rant about people proclaiming to want to play the OG MW2. Everybody knows custom clients exist, but the OG MW2 had no native controller support. Everybody who grew up with that game on X360 / PS3 currently have no way to enjoy the game they remember while avoiding hacked lobbies / malware risks because they'd have to transition to PC KBM and use a custom client. H2M promised the MW2 experience with native controller support due to being built on the MWR engine... at least that's a massive part of it for me. (Currently playing on Steam Deck, primarily against bots, and having a great time)
Hmm, never heard of any Doom mod interfering with modern Doom sales, but it might be just me...
Well well look who's back, glad they haven't gotten you yet brother
7:48 I did have a theory that Pluto never got C&D because it's just a client to host servers, you're still technically playing the vanilla games, whereas IW4X and the other XLabs games allowed custom content and assets from other Cods, like 4x has a ton of weapon and map mods from various Cods. The only custom content on Bo2 Pluto is ported weapons from within existing Bo2, like campaign and zombies assets in MP, and custom camos and skins are user generated and not Activision owned IP. However, IW5 has custom maps and guns like IW4X so I don't think my theory would be valid at this point.
To everyone saying halo was always meant to be competitive bungie said that they actually didnt want pvp in halo but realized they needed more content halo was originally supposed to be a story game a single player game so then how was halo always meant to be competitive if bungies original vision was a completely single player stroy driven game
surprisingly comprehensive and unbiased vid compared to your halo vids, seems like you give activision more benefit of the doubt than 343/M$
Love your channel man
Rare popq2 upload 😄
Why did they show everyone what they were making? Just make it then quietly spread it on 4chan
I'm glad you're back and doing well.
Hey brother! Good to see you back!
If he have learned one thing, its that the devs of these kinda projects should just not tell anyone about what they are making, and just release it when its done ha
After playing the horrible BO6 beta I cancelled my pre order for the first time since 2007. It got me sad realizing the cod we once knew is dead
CoD has been dead ever since Warslop became a thing.
Blackout battle Royale was much better than warzone in my opinion and bo4 was the last actual solid cod in my opinion. Cold war some say but it felt to stiff and clunky and sbmm being horrific
@@Pack52022 last CoD worth a damn was Black Ops 2
@@keshonhend2047 black ops 3 was fire and 4 was decent not terrible
YESSSSSS HE UPLOADED

Its very interesting that we went from your awful Halo 3 phase that you doubled and even tripled down on, to this. This video is actually really good and your points are well said. I do believe this is one of your best videos. Respect 👍
Late to this video but I disagree with your opinions on the general openness of the infinite maps. At high levels the power positions are extremely powerful and if an enemy is up there, it's difficult to move around the map without putting yourself and your team at risk. Designing the maps to not have one singular position where one player can see everything was I think a deliberate part of the design. This design forces teams who want to play passive to have coordinated, detailed, and disciplined setups, and it allows teams many good options to push into a setup if they want to try and break it. Take Lockout for example. If you have sniper and set up B3/library you're almost impossible to break, even if only two guys participate. Conversely on live fire if you have sniper and wanted to set up on tower, even if everyone holds their angles you can still get overwhelmed fairly quickly. The design of the maps was to try to discourage players and teams from setting up camp in one spot. Given this was in onyx ranked, which these maps were clearly designed for, which is a problem in and of itself. Stock maps should be designed for fun first and then only afterwards will the sweaties get their hands on them and tweak them how they want.
I just tried the new Ghost Recon and once it started expecting me to craft something, I was out. Remember GRAW? Soooooo good. What happened?
"Halo still has a huge sprint issue" *Refuses to give examples for 60 seconds*
Holy fuck
The classic games on MCC don't even play anywhere close to the same as the original releases, a nyway.
4 years later- yep, dead.
Everytime he says SBMM I took a shot. Now my liver is shooting down.
For me I only want eomm in games like cod nowadays cus of movement sweats being ultra cringe ruining the game, if they removed it then fine no more eomm, but in other games like siege it would help to have better EOMM cus i can’t enjoy that game for shit cus I keep getting rekt by ultra tryhards as a copper rank (lowest rank)
Im about to just download infinite again and call it a day
Well, considering that I haven't played the multiplayer of Halo Infinite more than once by accident, I had no idea they kept the weapon drops and Pelican vehicle insertions from Halo 4. In Halo CE, 2, 3, Reach, Wars, and ODST, it is very clear that if Pelicans and support ships keep providing support, they can and will be shot down by the Covenant. Even in the 343 Industries games, elements of that tension still exist. If you call in support, firstly, the vehicles should be indestructible (because the Spartan's shields don't protect them like in Halo 2 & 3), and secondly, the Pelican that you call in should be destructible, so that it blocks off routes in the multiplayer maps. The fact the maps don't have anyway to jam weapon request signals is also frustrating. Edit: It also seems like Halo 6 Infinite was designed with destructible map environments in mind, that could be destroyed with weapons and melee, but then they couldn't reproduce Halo 5's walls. Destroying a building's foundations by punching your way through it, only for the rest of the building to collapse on the player would have been hilarious. Edit 2: Halo Infinite now has 40 total maps to play--it should have launched with 20, but I suspect the game was made in less than a year, with the five years before being scrapped. One thing I note that you carefully avoided was the area of The Pit where you can get an energy sword. So many people camped there (including myself) because it was some of the best cover on the map--and the Rocket Launcher was in a similar nook/cranny. Likewise, so many people in Halo Reach camped at the top of the elevator shaft with a shotgun, sniper, and active camouflage, and I think there was an out of bounds area up on the rocks in one of the Halo Reach Forge remakes that shipped with the game (the Sanctuary remake: Asylum). Forge World offered so much more potential with the timed death barriers removed. Anyway, these are just some extra details, because the energy sword on Heretic was actually an unusual placement--I'd have gone with a Fuel Rod Cannon, but the lore and the aesthetics definitely required an energy sword. I think the problem with Halo Infinite's map design is that they don't take the Spartan energy shields into account--they put in lots of extra cover, because they design it around the SWAT, or Call of Duty imitation game modes, not Capture the Flag, Big Team Battle, and Oddball.
Stopped doing video games and started doing huge board games...
