Great job -- the decals are really tricky on Firebirds/ TAs and yours look really good.

@@thescalemodelcarguychannel8681 thanks Shawn, kool kit indeed.
Thanks for the series. Good to see these old builds learning new tricks. The "modification" raised the mantlent and gave it a more realistic stance.
@@edsgarage9966 thanks Ed, I had to shoehorn that motor in. Once the motor is delivered, I'll finish the Panther and after that they will all be new current builds.🙂
Awesome work on another tank. I am kind of sad you ran out of old builds to motorize. But you have demonstrated several ways to motorize these tanks .. and I will get around to doing this eventually.
Thanks Kurt, this is the final in my tank collection. Look forward to your motorization.
Super Cool!!! Nice job on the custom fabrication. If you didn't point out the changes I probably would have never noticed. Thanks for sharing and have a great week.
Thanks David, it's been fun to retrofit.😊
Very nice job, David. Your M3 Stuart Tank, in motorized version is a cool vehicle. Great work which has paid off. Best wishes, Joachim
Thanks Joachim, this is the last in my past tank builds besides the Panther to finish up. The rest will be new builds.😊
great
Thanks Freeman, nice seeing it motorized.😊
Very cool 👍
@@smithgroove945 thanks for checking out the video.
Two things. First off I just wanted to say that I picked up TWO Tamiya 1/35 German tank kits yesterday so I'll soon be able to finally build a Tamiya kit (hopefully by the end of the year). Next I wanted to comment on the comics you mentioned. I've been a long time comic reader since I was a kid but for the longest time I had no interest in war comics. That changed a few years ago when I read a few issues of The 'Nam and realized how good they were. Since then I've enjoyed reading many old war comics and grab them whenever I see them available for a reasonable price. DC, Marvel, Charleton, I don't care as long as it's a war comic. I find them all interesting but from a story point of view, characters and especially the historical accounts. This last retro-refit of your looks nice, it's just too bad it was not as easy as the others. Looking forward to see what you have coming next.
Love military comics👍I'll try to showcase some on the channel when I dig them out. Have fun with the Tamiya armor, they're great to assemble. I have to finish up my Panther then it's Panzer IV or the M60 tank for me.
@@davidchin350 Yes I've heard so many great things about the (near) perfect fit of Tamiya kits so I'm looking forward to that. As for the military comics I've been lucky (so far) at comic shows to find some real jems in the 'dollar' bins. I'm also have a lot of "Weird War" comics from the 70s/80s that I love. Combines ghosts/horror with military which is a great fit.
Nice work David, the tank looks great!
@@JethrosGarage-op4bo thanks Jeff, had to modify to get the motor to fit.

@@marsgarage8217 thanks Mars, super cool indeed.👍
Marvel had Sgt Fury, DC had SGT Rock, GI Combat (The haunted Tank), The Unknown Soldier, and The Losers. What a great build. I started building "The Haunted Tank" some time back. Its been a shelf queen for some time and I really should find the time to finish it. Thanks for sharing
@@Dirks_NUMA_Files thanks Dirk for the name references. I always wanted to build the "Frankenstein" cannibalized tank they had b4 it was destroyed and switched to a Stuart tank. The ghost of Confederate J.E.B. Stuart hated the crew each time they were in a Sherman tank named after the Northern General.☹️
Building a "haunted tank" is a great idea. Loved those comics as well as The Unknown Soldier. Not familiar with The Losers so I will have to look that one up.
@@davidchin350 They called it the Jigsaw tank. That's on my list as well. Ive been collecting the parts in hopes of building it some day. Its a T34 hull, a Walker Bulldog (If memory serves me right)
