WOW that ‘41 Plymouth looks absolutely incredible David! When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was a cream color. Did not realize it was a gloss Kahki color! Love the engine and those wheels look beautiful too! I like the height as well!
Looks great David. The first release of this kit was in 1975. My Dad built that release and painted it blue, but we don't know what happened to it. I have built a few in my past (and future) as well. I find that you really have to fit that front end piece in, but it's not a hard fit. The back side where it attaches on the two tabs needs to be sanded down and that will bring the panel forward to better meet the fenders. The three side panel lines were actually put there by the steel fender stamp. They were never chrome bars on the real car. Plymouth was pretty cheap in those days.
Thanks for the info and heads up in my last video regarding that front panel but I already glued it in place and pushed it through the painting process. I agree it it a nice kit and molded body. The suspension is detailed considering it uses two metal axles.😊

Looks great. That Khaki looks more like a tan, but it's a great selection for a car from that era. I don't have many vintage 'classic' cars (only one in my stash as far as I can recall) but I do love the look and hope to get a few more.
I like your choice of color, David. It works with that car. I have one of these, too, but it’s an old release, so no Coke for me. That’s okay, because I’m a Pepsi man. I’m working on a Mopar myself right now, the ‘68 Hemi Dart. And, yes, I’m still working on that damn plane you talked me into building. I got the wings on it! But, boy, they were at odd angles. I’ve got so many shims under the left one it’s pitiful.
Nice job on the "Flathead". Good body color too. Those Seat Belts were not original though. They were usually put in in the late "60's or early "70's. Overall, up to you excellent standards.
