My dad's 2001 Ram 1500 has the same problem and you cannot order the actuator anymore... but after seeing your video, I am hoping I don't have to... I will be ordering their kit to fix this as I suspect this is the problem. Thanks so much for the video!

Do you know of a way to move the drivers seat further back? I am 6'9" tall and I would like to move the drivers side seat back. Normally I would just get some 1 1/2 x 1/4 thick metal and drill new holes and bolt down the seat, But the dodge has vertical connectors on the front of the track attached to the seat. If I were to move the tracks back I would not have any way to bolt down the front and the front of the seat would be about 3" higher. Is there any way to move the seat back on the track?

Something that may help someone with this particular model only. If you take an allen wrench and put it through the bottom hole on the white clip that holds the spring you can pull it forward then up over the hook on the door then secure it in the metal holder in the front. It is a clip with a bend that will accept the cord and not allow it to spring back behind. If it goes back behind you will have problems and will have to remove the unit to fix it back. Do not remove the wrench until you place it back over the hook. A needle nose plier will help, it’s really not that bad. These are instructions from the GE service manual so it works well, again with this particular model. Another note is the replacement board you get will probably not have the jumpers and will be already configured to this model. This was a good video on how to perform this task however..

Your two videos gave me the confidence to finally tackle this job on my own. The dishwasher had been beeping and powering down for almost a year. I would get it up and running by messing with the wire harness and flipping the circuit breaker on and off. Finally, days before Christmas, my tricks stopped working. I troubleshooted the main control panel as you showed in your first video and it was a-ok, so I ordered a new wire harness and UI Control Board (both, since I was taking the door off anyway.) Finally, yesterday, I replaced both and the dishwasher is working great! I keep listening for the random beeps throughout the day, like PTSD, or a phantom pain. I'll have to get used to a quiet kitchen, the "new normal"! Thanks so much for your videos. I echo everyone else's sentiments. Happy New Year!

How did you determine it was the entire diverter motor that needed replaced and not just the rubber seal from the inside of the dishwasher?

Once you check for a leak and find one, you only need to get shorter bolts for the plenum or grind some off the stock bolts. The stock bolts are too long and bottom out which reduces the clamping force on the plate and thus there will be a leak. Bit of trouble to do, but cheap.

Great video. It would be nice if in the description it noted that you need a T-25 torx screwdriver.

Alot of times I think looking into the throttle body isn't a solid answer to the problem because alot of people clean the throttle body that has oil and other debris that after years can settle on the plate below giving you a false out come because you see oil on top.

I got the exact same truck and its doing the same with no power especially after it shifts in last gear it starts to shake and missfire and i changed the tps plugs and wires and still doing the same please any help would be much appreciated!

Just bought me a beautiful 2001 Dodge Ram Sport 1500 4x4, I've the EXACT same problem, same, exact light bulb...but my switch is missing the spring, metal piece, and plastic push button....... "Cheap-ass" Chryslers!!!!!!!!! Beautiful truck, just bought it w/98K,,,,, I believe I'll sell it w/in a year...........I thought I was so "DISGUSTED" with the quality of the '91 Chevy BLAZERS, cheapness in they're "Dash" ...........I'm really disgusted w./ this DODGE!

Matt, very clear instructions and video! Same dryer - Kenmore series 70 - same issue - working, but not heating/drying. As a 60+ gal who likes to DIY and save money, I decided to go ahead and purchase the heating element (don't have the meter). I followed your instructions, took off back and, in your video when you are checking the heating element with the meter, you show TWO wires, solid red and red w/ white stripe. My dryer only has the front, solid red one. Should I go ahead and install the new one with only the front wire attached? Any suggestions? Thank you for any help you can give.

Anyone else have this same problem but the terminal where the wire low beam wire goes into is completely corroded?

got my truck 147k put about 4k miles on it now. runs great, steel plenum and gasket dosent appear to be leaking. oil about 3/4 quart low in 4k miles , I have the gasket and aluminum Plenum plate. Just don't think it's necessary to do the job.

Man i had my pcm go out on me saying No Bus and a check engine light come on. I got a new Pcm and now I'm getting a P0351 code popping up on my 2001 dodge i replaced the Pcm and Ignition coil and the truck still wont start.

Is there any reason at all to not just TIG that lower plenum pate to the intake manifold? Ahhh, asking for a friend.
