Yes sir, been using snoseal for years! My leather boots are my winter boots. After washing the leather, I use alcohol to open the pores, this makes the snoseal penetrate the leather easier (this is usually only once or twice a year), using the same process as you demonstrated! FYI: Neatsfoot oil is another good product, it's great for softening leather when the boots are brand new and makes the break-in process faster.
