Yes we have a plan to do a full makeover on the electronics on this boat once we get back to Perth... there is a ton of obsolete and/or poorly done systems happening at the moment. I guess 20 years of bits and pieces being added by various owners. We will get there though 🙌. Thanks for watching

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes I think the fact that our pulleys are attached to ropes doesn't help as the winch sits lower than the height of the lines coming from the deck. Our decision is whether to go a 'quick fix' or re-do the whole rope system and where it comes back to in the cockpit. That would be the best solution but time and money are obviously also a factor....

Yes it looks like we might have to do a bit of reconfiguring based on feedback from yourself and others. Thanks for the suggestion. One day we will have a jam free winch setup 😝

Yes I don’t think we could have started with much less experience especially for a challenging area to boat whether it be motor or sail. Luckily we are fast learners and made it out the other side with a lot more knowledge than we started. Still got to tackle the Wild West coast down to perth so not counting our chicken just yet. There is a way we can lower the angle on the port side but as the rope comes across the back from starboard we can’t seem to figure out how to drop that angle as it comes off a higher part of the boat 😬🤔. It’s funny cause we know it happens and we are careful but it’s always the one time things are a little hectic that it choses to jam again 😝😂…. Gota laugh or you can only cry!!! Thanks for watching

The only way is forward so they say 😝😝😝. Hahah yes the life jackets were hanging close by on the door. We wear them in the dark and keep them close during the day when it’s rough or if we have to go up front. Thanks as always for the comment and for watching 🙌

Yes it’s funny how much you take having a car for granted until you no longer have access to one. I think we were too scared for most of that trip to be sea sick. The camera never shows it well but we were rethinking our life on that day 😝. Thanks as always for watching

Not sure what the future plans are, but there is no plans at this stage to go back to living in one place so wether we stay on the sea or back to the road, there will be some kind of adventure to share…. Chris has always wanted to fit out a bus…. Something for us to ponder for the future 😜

We knew there would be some buying an older boat, plus we have jumped straight on as is with no time to check or fix anything yet so as long as we don’t sink we will be happy to fix what we need to along the way. Yes there is def different levels of DIY…. Chris is very meticulous when he does stuff so we will get it turned around over time. ❤️

Hahah yes it seemed that way for quite a few weeks but we slowly got better at leaving the drama behind 😜😜😜 there were days we were selling the boat for sure… luckily the good out weighed the bad! Thanks for watching

It was soooo dark!!! Thankfully the other boat was smart enough to turn on their anchor light otherwise I have no idea how we would have found the boat 😬😬😬😬😬. Thanks for the message

It wasn’t getting enough power so Chris changed the wiring to bigger cables.…. Luckily we had some onboard 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Yes we are on a very steep learning curve, but thats all part of enjoying life. We just want to have fun while not getting ourselves into too much trouble! Thanks as always for watching

We had a moment of 'freaking out' when we first came around the corner to see how small the space was, but once we calmed down and concentrated, all was good and we got safely tied up. Not sure what would have happened if there were already other boats in there though 😬
