FLOWTORIAL: Under Hand Sneaks
Today is all about Under Hand Sneaks (UHS), the UHS much like the OHS is an introduction to behind the back movement patterns in Rope Flow. With the foundations built in OHS, the UHS can be learned quickly, however, it pays to be aware of the difference in the timing of the rope and body when shifting from either side or crossing the midline.
Here's a quick tip:
OHS: Rope then Body
UHS: Body then Rope
Sneaks in general reinforce the proprioceptive awareness developed in the practice of rope rolling and provide a solid foundation for further exploration into movements where one or both hands are not plain view ie. where we need to feel the movement more than we actually see it.
Sneaks are also wonderful movement patterns for accessing deeper rotation of the wrist, shoulder, and thoracic spine. These also allow a greater opening of the chest cavity through a gentle awareness of the expansion of the collarbone and the compression of the shoulder blades. More so, Sneaks bring greater depth into the practice of the coiling core by mimicking the posture and position of the body during sprints.

I am just starting to rope flow and this video is reallly helpful.
I spent over $180 USD on a a rope flow course and never figured out Cheetah's Tail. I watched you for 5 seconds and finally figured it out. Thank you!!!!
Great tutorial! Going to be watching this a few times to really get it but the multiple angles really help!! Thank you!

Be mindful of the mask.
Totally new to Rope Flow, that's great, thanks a lot and cheers from Italy!
Great demos and coaching! Thank a lot!
Hi coach, Nice to have a deatiled video on the topic!! After the sneak action, the rope connecting my sneak hand is towards the inside and hits wrist of the other hand, making it hard to exit the position. Basically rope doesnt separate enough after the sneak. Any pointers to correct this? Thank you!
Awesome tutorial..well done coach
This is soooo difficult
Aaargh can't get past the mask...why?
It’s likely an exercise mask. It restricts breathing and helps train the lungs. Edit: on closer inspection…looks like a normal mask? Unless the material is thick….idk why either lmao
@@seagreensugarcube1474 this was filmed and edited during the covid pandemic and the philippines had some of the strictest mask laws in the world.
Nice tattoo!😊✨
