As a long time Constant Reader, I have to say my favorites are his short story/ novella collections. The first King book I read was Nightmares and Dreamscapes and they have been my favorites ever since.

I’m new to your channel, Ian, and am really appreciating your thoughtful and sincere content. This is a great list-I’ve read several of them already, and have added the rest to my GR TBR!

I'm an old-school King reader; meaning I haven't read much (or any) of his new stuff. Therefore, my faves are The Dead Zone and Firestarter. It's not that I avoid him, exactly, I just get distracted by other things... 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I'm always happy when a fellow Dead Zone fan pops up. 👍🏻

I love so many of King’s works, but definitely It, Pet Sematary and Revival are three which have really stuck with me over the years. Pet Sematary and It were two books which just called to me when younger, and rereading them as an adult is equally impactful from a whole new perspective in life. Revival I just went into with 0 expectations, loved it and still think about it in ways even outside the insane ending.

Cant agree more 11/22/63 is fantastic but my personal favorite of all time is definitely The Green Mile it is so good Secret time: I have never read "It"... 😬

I will send this video to my sister who is in a book club. I guess now I will at least have to read “East of Eden” by Steinbeck. My favorite book would be “Stranger In A Strange Land” by Robert Heinlein.

The Holly stories are okay, but I’d rather get something more firmly on the supernatural horror side from King.
