As a CJ-8 Scrambler owner, I loved seeing that leaf-sprung beauty handle a very difficult trail. Especially the "Persian Gulf" obstacle! Awesome!! Excellent driving.
My grandparents first met as service members for the army in France during ww2. Got married soon after. Then went to every major conflict/war together till they retired. Will have to visit this trail in their honor.. Let's hope my juggy can survive the carnage of battle!!
Man that jeeps gonna flip .. what psi were they running , seems like they shoulda gone up a bit easier on some of those ledges. Sorry ambiguously worded... if they had lower pressure theyd climb better.
@@chrisdesertdog2162 Thanks. I have one of their chassis on the way, looking at running a couple steering Super Duty 60s. Wasn't sure if it'd be too wide at full width. It's definitely wide on the little chassis, but not stupid wide...

NO! Don't listen to the spotter at 3:50! AAAAAAAAH!
Yep, some baddd spotting, lol.
Exactly what I was thinking. We just did several trails in Sand Hollow last week and a good spotter can make all the difference.

Cool vid!!! Your buddy in the other buggy is a crap spotter.
I don’t think that fence at the WW2 marker is keeping anything in or out

Gotta air low for traction. The rig doesn't handle cracks well because it's on leaf springs F&R.
Nice job on getting a guy hung up
Don't scold me...I was just holding the camera bubba.
Is that Rock Lizard on full width? Or are they narrowed?
Full width
Full-width ford kingpin D60 in front, full-width SRW 14-bolt in the rear. I will post a walkaround video of his build soon.
