I have not explored much of WV except for visiting the New River Gorge National park. Watching your videos makes me want to check it out.

Wow! What a place! That bridge right at the start was so gorgeous with great views in every direction. Ha ha ha, "Dark Lady" yes, that was Cher. I always enjoyed that song. I really liked all the "Look kids, cows in the pasture" comments along the way. I always like it when you beckon for us to come along with you and see what you are seeing. And then there is the view from the top! Simply wonderful. I agree that West Virginia has a lot of beautiful spots also. ⛰🏕🗻🍁🍂🍃🌿🌳🌲🌲🌼🌻🌺

When my son was little he watched a lot of 101 Dalmatians. One day we were driving down the road and he saw some black and white cows and he said look mom Dalmatians cows. I remember Dark Lady by Cher. I liked that song. Oh gosh, steps going down, who would have thunk,,,lol. I enjoy watching the shadows of the clouds over the mountains.

What an amazing place. Those views are epic and it was fun to be able to spot the places you camped and picked up the trailhead. Another beautiful video. Thanks and God bless!

Have you checked out Summerville Lake resivar that is low enough to see stuff from old submerged town and bridges? I think it's just west of you

Thanks for showing us this beautiful area, Dave! We have done the houseboat thing there two times, and it was a blast. If you get a chance, check out the massive cliffs up near the dam. It is well worth the trip.

That had to be the most perfect camping spot ever. I've never been to Seneca Rocks. This made me really want to go. That stop along the way before you got there was amazing too! I'm always drawn to those kind of places and always want to see them close up. I understand why you were wishing you could paddle a canoe or something in there. I wanted to also. OH Dave , that sure did bring back some great memories. I got a funny story for ya. it was about 45 years ago, the last time I was there and about a mile I guess from where you're camped . Five of us went down there in January to trout fish in that stream and about 50 yards up from where we were, the state was restocking the trout and everyone filled their stringers except me, and I couldn't catch a fish for nothing so the rest of them felt bad and filled my stringer for me😅. the only thing I caught there was a bad cold😅. But I had fun anyway. Another place you might be interested to see is smoke hole caverns. Dwayne

Hey Dave , I have always loved Seneca rocks.. it's a beautiful place. a little known secret about that place. About 40 years ago there was a mercenary back in there and once in a while you see them training when they would repel down over those rocks. it was really cool. They even had a recruitment ad in soldier of fortune magazine. Dwayne
