Thank you Wizard of the Yellow Ridge Trail for another great adventure! Cliff is always remarking on the neglect of trail signage. It makes it very difficult and waste time. 🙏🥾
Good morning, Dave, I'm just sitting here having coffee and hanging out with you. that was a great hike, and I really like hiking along the power line right aways . funny story for ya. I was 13 before I knew the wizard of Oz changed from black and white to color and the first time I saw it at my sister's house it freaked me out and I thought , wow that is super cool. love that movie. Dwayne
Greetings, oh Wizard of the Yellow Ridge Trail. Your faithfulness on that powerline is overwhelming. I would need a yellow brick road to give me the steadfastness to go on. Crossing one is enough for me. Today is Autumn. Happy Autumn Day.
@@quietjohnoutandabout6578 Good hearing from you. Yes, fall is in the air. Leaves are already starting to turn. Hope you get out and take us along with you. God Bless. 👍🙂🙏
You have mad whistling skills! I enjoyed all the Wizard of Oz references. Yes, I loved the Wizard of Oz when we were growing up...still do. The Long Pine Reservoir is such a lovely place. I have a lot of good memories of being there. The Yellow Ridge Trail looked like an interesting one. There was a really nice variety of landscapes there - open meadows, tight closed in pines, ferns and green places, fall leaves and twists and turns. 🍂🍃🍁🌿🌲🌲🌳🪴🌱🌼🌻🕸🌹🌸🌲🍂🍁
Glad you enjoyed it! Those are my favorite hikes. No expectations but always ends up amazing. Funny what you think of on trails. The Wizard of Oz is still one of the best. Follow the yellow brick road😊
Yes I watched the wizard of Oz. I think I did find it a bit scary. I have the DVD so for sure I am going to have to watch it soon. You didn't tell us you were an amateur actor as well as song writer: either way you made me chuckle as usual. 🙏📽
@@cathyp4342 making someone smile makes my day. Thanks for watching and commenting. Movies like the Wizard of Oz are a special treat. So glad we got to experience it.🙂
2 weeks ago I learned that when they fell asleep in that meadow outside of Emerald City, the snow fall was actually asbestos! Ewww, that's the only scary thing about Wizard of Oz. Guess back then they didn't know about the health dangers from asbestosis. I knew the silver makeup was not good either on the Tin Man. Really nice hike! God Bless
Very nice! The hum of the powerlines brings back memories of 35 years working in power plants! ❤ happy trails!
