Even a jew at work attacked Jesus and i just didn't wanna engage. I felt terrible, felt like i let my Lord down. I had a hard childhood but I have never lost faith, in fact it made my faith stronger. Nobody can take that away! So now i want to learn more so I'm ready to defend God and Mama Mary (not that they need defending)😅

John MacArthur: Jesus is BOTH your Lord AND savior. The late Zane Hodges: Jesus is ONLY your savior. Both appeal to the Bible alone. Who is right? MacArthur, the former adoptionist, who once insisted the Bible clearly teaches Jesus wasn't eternally begotten as the Son? Or Hodges, who was a hyper-Dispensationalist, and taught that "rightly dividing the word" means agreeing that nothing Jesus ever taught applied to the church? Who is right? Both appeal to only Scripture!

Funny how Catholic and Calvinist churches evangelize Christians much better than they do any other people groups in the US. Sad they fool so many people with bad doctrines and some incredibly bad contextual interpretations.

There's no such Biblical thing as Apostolic succession or the Catholics traditions, don't believe the Catholics because there was no Catholic Church until the 4th century and devil inspired men formed it. The Apostolic Church, David K Bernard, the upci and other oneness churches are just as erroneous and false as the the Catholic Church. Why don't you false religions read and believe the Bible?.

This is nothing more than typical a Roman misportraying the Protestant traditions by using a radical (enthusiast) branch!theology to define all Protestants, then comparing it to a heretical sect, claiming to be “Protestant”, to disprove all Protestants. Furthermore, he assumes that all Roman sources are acceptably unbiased enough to legitimately use in such a discussion. Finally, he completely misapplies Sola Scriptura to make his points. In effect, this is no different than a communist arguing for the superiority of Communism, using communist theories, claiming a Euro-socialists style state is capitalist, then using a 60s style Swedish fully socialist state as a “capitalist” foil, to disprove “capitalism”, because free markets hurt the workers. No one would accept that as a valid economic argument. As such, no one should accept this Roman argument as valid.

One important thing! We, The Catholic Church, produced the Bible and through Pope Damasus Pontifical authority, declared it "Word of God". Without such guarantee, we would not have trusted it to be of divine origin. Such fact was confirmed at Hippo, Carthage and ultimately at Nicaea.

It is understandable, we know how Satan works. Some will fall away from the truth & things of GOD for things of men & the world. The history of the roman religion from start to now is often ignored, justified but worse covered up with forged writings and manipulated history that is passed down to its members. The Westminster confessions claim that scripture is the supreme authority in doctrine and practice is not found in scripture and presumes an authority within the Westminster confession not found in scripture. Scripture claims inspiration and, therefore, infers inerrancy of the biblical text. However, scripture claiming inspiration infers the infallibility of the church to define and defend the deposit of faith. By proclaiming the Westminster confessions claim of scriptural infallibility, the confession errs by affirming the scripture's infallibility when the human and divine authors were infallible, and the biblical text is inerrant. The error contra-indicates the claim of apostolic truth affirmed by Calvinists, and other reformation Christians who claim the true gospel is found only in the biblical text and not in the church history of the fathers, and Papally approved church councils. And ironically, the Westminster confession is subjecting believers to a Socinian rationalism, reducing the scripture's truth value to private interpretation of the believer never taught in scripture. Some Pertinent Comments - Apostolic succession participates in the genius of Papal and Church infallibility and Church authority not available in the Protestant system. And the Protestant system participates in the genius of Papal and Church infallibility and Church authority by using the biblical text derived from church authority and appealing to the church father's witness to doctrine and practice with church creeds. Both systems participate in apostolic succession and genius in different ways with the Catholic system directly reliant upon sacramental succession in the priesthood and bishops and embracing the genius of Protestant preaching conforming to Catholic doctrine. The Protestant system, however, accidentally relies upon apostolic succession and the accompanying genius of the Spirit guiding the Catholic church when Protestants defer to historial-based doctrines.

If Protestants reject apostolic succession then they reject the one true Church established by Christ in 33 AD. Their Church has no authority to guide it. They reject the authority Christ gave to Peter to govern his Church and shepherd the whole flock. The only thing Protestantism has done is rupture the unity of Christ's Body. They think they belong to the Church in the Bible that is going to be raptured. Well sorry to disappoint you but the Catholic Church is going nowhere. She has to stay on earth.

Scripture itself commands us not to lean on our own understanding (Prov 3:5) yet this is constantly what Protestant leaders do instead of leaning on the understanding of those taught and ordained by the Apostles to be their successors.

And yet there is a genius to Catholicism for those humble enough to see it, a genius that goes beyond any one man or even group of men.
