@NuLeif I don't know about him, but I'm a Catholic cradle. I have never left the church even though my Father is a Pentecostal fake pastor. So I have attended a few protestant churches to see the difference and I will never attend one again. God's presence is only in the Catholic Church. What's so important is that all those who don't confess to a priest get their sins retained and you can't consume the body and blood of Christ. Which you won't be resurrected in the last day. Why play with your salvation, when you can be in God's true house and be a child of God and be the light of the world. Convert to Catholic if you haven't already, before is to late and you die with mortal sins.

Jesus said: “My people, the prophet Amos called out the market people for fixing their scales to cheat the people by giving them less food for more money. Your business people of today are no different as they give you smaller containers with less food for higher prices. Both the employers and the workers need to work a proper length of time for the day, and they should not be cheated in their pay. In the Gospel I called Levi from his collecting taxes to follow Me. I later called him Matthew and I ate at his house that night. The Pharisees criticized Me for eating with tax collectors and sinners, but I told them that the sick need a physician, and those who are well, do not need a physician. I was referring more to those who need their souls cleansed of sin. You all are sinners and you are in need of Confession. So repent of your sins and let the priest absolve you of your sins.”
Jesus said: “My people, you remember when Moses held up a bronze snake on a pole so the people who were bitten by snakes could look on the bronze serpent and they were healed. Today you are seeing a gold serpent wrapping itself around a consecrated Host in a monstrance. This is a sign to you how much Satan despises My Real Presence in My monstrance. Satan hates My Real Presence and he does everything to try and stop any places of Adoration. Every refuge will have My consecrated Host in their midst, because worshiping Me around the clock will give the power for My angels and Me to multiply all that you will need for your survival at My refuges. At the coming Synod you may see more persecution of My Eucharist during the Mass in any pronouncements. Follow the true teachings of My Church that are found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church by St. John Paul II.”

I grew up in an Eastern Orthodox environment, and in my 20’s got catechised and baptised in the latin rite of the Catholic Church, and maybe that’s the reason why the truth of apostolic christianity (meaning ancient Churches like Catholic, Orthodox - former part of Catholic, Coptic, Armenian, and many others) comes so natural to me. And maybe it’s the reason why I never cease to be stunned of how people can even CONSIDER (let alone accept) this”me and my Bible” religion (which is not even theirs in the first place) with no priests, no saints, no relics, no Eucharist or other Sacraments, no monks or nuns, no bishops, no icons, no statues, no altars, no crucifixes.
It’s like in Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita when the Devil visiting Moscow asks a famous writer and editor of various things people believe in in in that communist country, including afterlife, God, Devil, etc, and the answer to every single question is no every single time, he exclaims in frustration: what’s matter with you people, anything one asks about you don’t have! Well, this communist reminds me of a protestant.

As a cradle Catholic with a Catholic school education, I live in a predominantly Lutheran area* and am really amazed at the "nonsense" that some Protestant priests say is different from the Catholic Church.
One of the Protestant children in our circle of friends asked me during his confirmation class whether the position of the hands when praying (folded vs. placed together) is actually one of the important differences between Protestant and Catholic.
On the other hand, I realize that when it comes to faith, you never really stop learning, but have to deal with topics of faith regularly.
I am currently attending our parish's faith course, which gives me a "new" look at "old" topics.
*in Luther's and the emperor who went to Canossa homeland, this northern region is statistically 51% Lutheran, 8% Catholic, 1% other religious affiliation or none. In the south of the country, it is the other way around.

What you are describing, happens to us all, some don't fall away, some do. The real issue is us, nothing is more robust or full than the Catholic Church. The reason we don't see it is, more of a knock on us than the Church. I hear similar stories form protestant friends as well. So, what can we do to keep our youth engaged? To me it's lead by example, engage them and most of all love them. Bottom line volunteer to be a catechist if you can.

For some Christians today, they might go as far as saying even the Patristic Fathers had already apostatised by the time of these writings. If they accept the Luke’s Gospel as absolute truth, then Chapter 24 explains the origin of the Liturgy of the Eucharist that survives till this day, and WHY THE GOSPELS were written: Then Jesus said to them, “You foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures. Wasn’t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?” Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
By this time they were nearing Emmaus and the end of their journey. Jesus acted as if he were going on, but they begged him, “Stay the night with us, since it is getting late.” So he went home with them. As they sat down to eat, he took the bread and blessed it. Then he broke it and gave it to them. Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And at that moment he disappeared!”
They said to each other, “Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?”
For this reason the Liturgy of the Word with readings from the OT and NT are read and homily follows. Then the Liturgy of the New Covenant is celebrated with the ‘breaking of bread’ when Jesus is truly present at this Eucharist or Thanksgiving. For this purpose of the liturgy, we have the Gospels and St Paul’s homilies read and preserved. This is evidence that liturgy of the New Covenant - the Eucharist (new passover) - birthed the NT writings and not the other way round. 😊
PS: The Lord’s Prayer reference to the ‘super-substantial bread’ is in fact Jesus pre-figuring the Eucharist being worthily received daily. The Catholic Church with all its Rites is the ONLY church which celebrates the Eucharist daily from sunrise to sunset around the world. Not even the Eastern Orthodox do this. Christ’s prayer is efficacious to the point of being fulfilled by Divine Will.

    2 Thessalonians 2:3 KJV
    Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
The falling away is everyone thats running back to Catholicism and their idol worship because they were never saved to begin with. They rather will have icons (idols) to see and worhsip than rather to worship God in spirit and in truth.
    Exodus 20:4 KJV
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Your worship of Mary is an abomination. Even the Angel that appeared unto John even said not to worship him what makes you think we should even worship Mary much less say a prayer devoted to her? I'll pray for everyone who is being decieved by the catholic church but repent from this wicked way and turn back to the Lord Jesus Christ before His return!

This comment that I want to share will be a long one, because there is much to cover. I don’t want to offend anyone, my aim is to share the Gospel to the lost, because I care about what will happen to people when they die.
You see I once was Catholic. And like most Catholics I notice, I was very proud of my religion. I thought it was the Church that Jesus himself wanted. And I saw nothing wrong with praying and bowing down to images of Jesus, or Mary, or Saints. I did it all the rosary, the mass, the partaking in the Eucharist, etc.
Until one day, a Christian man asked me some difficult questions about Catholicism. For example, where in the Bible does God say to pray the rosary? All the questions he had I couldn’t answer. And it was that day, that God opened up my eyes to the truth. It took me months to leave the Catholic Church, because I was too stubborn, but God would give me signs that it was the right thing to do.
So now I would like for any Catholic to answer some questions please. Without getting into an ugly argument.
    1. Why did Jesus come to suffer and die for us? Is everything that Jesus did for us not enough?
    2. Why is it okay to pray to Mary and the Saints?
    3. What is Purgatory like? Do people suffer there? And how long do they stay there? Jesus described Heaven and Hell in great detail, but he never mentioned Purgatory, why not?
    4. Some Catholics say that there is no salvation outside of the Church, so then how were people in the times of the Old Testament saved? How did they make it to heaven if there was no Catholic Church in those times?
    5. Jesus said 7 “ I Am” statements, I Am the bread of life, I Am the light of the world, I Am the door of the sheep, I Am the Good Shepherd, I Am the Resurrection and the Life, I Am the way, the truth and the life, & I Am the true vine. When Jesus said the 7 I Am statements it was to illustrate and point to us that he is the only one for our salvation. Because when Jesus said he is the door for example, no one believes he is literally a door. So then why do Catholics believe that the bread of the Eucharist is literally his body?
In John 6:43, Jesus said, “Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered. 44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’[d] Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me. 46 No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. 47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. 50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
Regarding the Eucharist notice verse 47, Jesus says the one who believes has eternal life. So as Protestants, we see that only Jesus can save us. We believe in him and he saves us. There are hundreds of scriptures stating this. And in verse 50, Jesus says he is the bread that came down from heaven. (Notice he came down from heaven just once). He never said I will keep coming down from heaven, like the Catholic Eucharist teaches.
So I hope to hear from any Catholic regarding these very important topics because your salvation is the most important matter, I say this out of love and concern❤.

This is a great question and one I personally had to address very early on in the process of my reversion. God gave me an answer - unexpectedly - through some helpful remarks a priest made after Mass one day. He described it as a "Galilee moment" where I truly met the risen Savior in a life-changing way. That priest befriended me and became a spiritual director to me. The Church very generously recognizes that the graces of God are found beyond the boundaries of the Church, if they are found in an incomplete and even (in some ways) defective way. The Baptist church preached Christ to me and I responded. A good place to see this is in the Catechism paragraph 819 and in the Vatican II document Lumen Gentium. God bless you sir!

    Debunking Roman Catholicism:
    1. Peter's confession is the rock. (not Peter) see Agustin of Hippo -
"Therefore, he says, 'You are Peter; and upon this Rock which you have confessed, upon this Rock which you have acknowledged, saying, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, will I build My Church; that is upon Myself, the Son of the living God, will I build My Church. I will build you upon Myself, not Myself upon you.' "

SERMON XXVI. AGAIN ON MATT. XIV. 25: OF THE LORD WALKING ON THE WAVES OF THE SEA, AND OF PETER TOTTERING.
    Debunking Eucharist:
    2. Jeremiah 15:16 Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. John 1:14
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. John 6:63
To eat the flesh of Christ is to believe His words.
    Debunking Infant Baptism
    3. Belief comes before baptism
    see Acts 8:36-37
And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
The so called household that were baptized did not indicate that there were infants. They could have had adult children.

400 AD Letter from Augustine on Apostolic Succession: [54, 5, 7] "In the first place, I want you to hold as basic to this discussion that our Lord Jesus Christ, as He Himself said in the Gospel, subjected us to His yoke and to His burden, which are light. He has therefore obliged the society of His new people [New Covenant people] to the Sacraments, very few in number, very easy of observance, and most sublime in meaning. Such, for example is Baptism, consecrated in the name of the Trinity; the Communion of His Body and Blood and whatever else is commended in the canonical Scriptures…..But in regard to those observances which we carefully attend and the whole world keeps, and which derive not from Scripture but from Tradition [Apostolic Tradition], we are given to understand that they are recommended and ordained to be kept, either by the Apostles themselves or by plenary councils, the authority of which is quite vital to the Church.

Jesus said: “My people, I talked to Nicodemus about being ‘born again in the spirit’, which is like coming out of the darkness into the light. You had this same experience yesterday when the eclipse of the sun by the moon brought darkness and then the light of the sun returned. You are usually baptized as an infant, and you become a member of My Church. When you receive the sacrament of Confirmation, you receive the Holy Spirit, so you are born in the spirit. When the apostles received the tongues of fire on Pentecost, they received all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I also breathed upon them to receive the Holy Spirit as well. It was this courage and other gifts that gave the apostles the spiritual strength to spread My Good News to the people in all of their missionary travels. My faithful have also received the sacrament of Confirmation so you are blessed to share My Good News of My Resurrection with those people you are evangelizing. Reach out to make new members in My Church by converting souls to faith in Me.”

Dear E5nklodrthb, We celebrate because a new person will share in the true Church that Jesus Christ started in Matthew 16:18-19. We celebrate because he or she will experience what the speaker calls the “stunning” “transcendent beauty” of the Catholic Mass. The Catholic Church has remained ONE ever since then for more than two thousand years and has celebrated the Mass ever since then. In John 17, which I think is the most beautiful thing that I have ever read, Jesus prayed to His Father three times that His Church would be ONE. He said that the world would know that His Father had sent him if His Church would remain ONE. And we have for more than two thousand years! We are all over the world! If you would like to see the “stunning” “transcendent beauty” that the Mass has, all that you have to do is to visit your nearest Catholic Church when they are celebrating the Mass. And, the Mass is full of Scripture, as he said.
