Fallout 4 Jamaica Plain Settlement Build No Mods
มุมมอง 21K8 ปีที่แล้ว
Walkthrough of my Jamaica Plain settlement. PS4 no mods. Enjoy!
It is ugly af, no offense
Impressive! I love I use used some of already present assets in such a creative way. Such as the cabin with a destroyed bed turned on it's side which you used as a kind of protective screen for the weapon vendor. And that bed with no matress where you used the springs as a cooking grill by putting a fire under neath. Very clever!
@@Rangersly thanks so much. I really liked to leave the settlements as is and not scrap anything. That was it still feels familiar but I got to add my detail to an existing place. I really spent a lot of time here, it was one of my favourite builds Thanks again for the kind words!
Here from my own video returning the view and like. I tend to avoid watching settlement tours until after my own build is finished at a location (I focus better with a clear head rather than ideas) so this is new for me. It definitely has a more open vibe to the layout than the cramped space I turned mine into, with the small build bar here I can only guess how many times you used weapons workbench glitch 😮 awesome job. You also mentioned my style reminded you of your first build here, I've got to say in the first few seconds it reminded me more of my very first build at red rocket with the tower style and overhangs.
That’s great to see you here! Wow what a long time since I rewatched this video. It’s crazy how my build style changed from this first one to my others. I’m going to go on a deep dive and watch your settlements. Always appreciate another lone survivor trying to build up their settlements!!
Nice 😃
I’m glad you liked it! This was a special game
I know I’m like 6 years late, but I really love this build! So much life and detailing. Sunshine Tidings is probably my favorite settlement to build, and I usually go for a sort of “Wild West” frontier town with a sheriff’s office (with a certain “Deputy Slimm” protectron) where you have the armor store, the center warehouse as a saloon with an attached motel, and all the other buildings being various shops and such.
Every item here is all placed manually and would knock over if I ran into the items. When I built this there were no mods like place anywhere or static items. It was a real pleasure to build these settlements when the game came out. This many years later and the kind words still make me smile. Thank you for enjoying the walk through!
How did you get rid of the dead body and all dead ghouls in the area?
I grabbed them and moved them out of the way. There should be a ghoul in the bushes somewhere
@@Mysmi I've tried that. They respawn after a while.
@@jamesroper4952 then you record your video before they respawn and pretend they never existed ;)
@@Mysmi I'm not making a video. I just sealed up the buildings that have dead bodies. Bethesda's laziness knows no bounds. Can imagine living in a place, where you can constantly put up, with the stench of rotting ghouls, and dead people.
I like how you had turned some of the shacks into shops
Very nice Job
I’m so glad you liked my first attempt at a fallout build. That mechanic and ability to create settlements was so fun! How did you possibly come across this video so many years later? Glad you liked it and feel free to check out my later builds that became a lot more realistic!
@@Mysmi building the settlement i Like that is the best in Fallout i Like to do
@@Mysmi building the settlement i Like that is the best in Fallout i Like to do
"private parts" lol
I personally think the best part if this is some of the actual physical construction you did with the basic wood pieces, they look really good. Especially that three level tower with the stairs and walkway around the outside.
Thank you. Even after years it is still nice to see the positive vibes :) my build at Nordhagen Beach is mostly all construction I made other than the original shack. Check it out if you’re interested
@@Mysmi I got a really good build going for Sunshine Tidings, I plan on posting a video, when I do I’ll share the link. You gave me a couple good ideas for it!
@@Thelordmagedon I would be more than happy to watch the video! Good job
My settlement compared to yours is like comparing McDonald's to Gordon Ramsey
Just as they were done with the video a band of super mutants came in and Mini nuked the place! lol
One Melon, a handful of Mutfruit and one Nuka-Cola please. Do you have a bed for the night? Or actually, let my spend my vacation here!🤘👏🤓
Plenty of room here! And no social distancing needed ;)
How did you even build all this? I am trying to build but it just keeps floating in the air or gets deep in the sand I am so very confused.
Amazing!
Saw the link from Sar's stream earlier today. I actually remember watching this one a long time ago but I guess I never left a comment until now. Nice job!
Great build!!
Your decoration skills and attention to detail is amazing. I can’t have imagined how long it had took you to place all the little objects without the use of mods, you have the patience that not many people have.
Thank you very much! This place was intense
I'm missing your tours, Mysmi. Please give us some good more tours in Fallout 4 !
Ah man, I have been so lost to the wastelands, I’d be hard pressed to remember all the fun building mechanics of fallout! I should turn the game on again, shouldn’t I?
@@Mysmi Oh yeah, definitely ! I mean I know it is time-consuming but, well, I've been loving this for 5 years and still feel like there are a lot of stuff yet to be built. So many builders have so many ideas or styles, they're inspiring and help evolving our own style. Your ideas and style were (are and will be) so fine, Mysmi !
Omfg this is sooo awesome!
I only recently discover Fallout 4, having played 1 and 2 a long time ago. I have been immersed in this iteration since the first time I loaded it in my PS4. This build was very innovative. I loved the multilevel posts in the water, good eye for detail there and the partially submerged bus and buildings at the waters edge. I know I am really late in seeing this but thanks for the video, well done. If I could I would give it 100 likes and a few dozen thumbs ups as well....
Ah Robert those are really kind words and it doesn’t matter if it was from when I posted it a few years ago or today. Thanks for appreciating the detail. I spent so much time building this place that any recognition is welcome! So this build was finished prior to mods being available on PS4 so that means all of the items were hand placed and will/would move if hit or bumped into! So much time lining things up! Anyway thanks again! Glad you enjoyed the walk through
Why would you put weapons out in the open outside the settlement like that. Here come blow me up anyone!
I feel bad for PS4 players they don’t have the tools and assets everyone else has
I absolutely adore that patchwork look. Settlements that are just concrete blocks depress me.
I hate building in this game lol, it's so bad
Wish the base game gave us all this stuff to use as decorations and objects. Also wish the snapping system was removed and you could place anything anywhere within the limits. I’m looking at you junk walls
The game wouldn’t be a Bethesda Fallout game if it didn’t have awful building mechanics! Where would the enjoyment in that be? Thanks for the watch. Check out my Nordhagen Beach build. That was before mods. Every item is hand placed and would move if bumped into. I built that in one shot, without leaving the settlement
Bravo. No mods, keeping it original and the settlement kick ass. Must have spend a lot of time on this. The effort amazing
Thanks a lot, Trane! This is the build that really inspired me to get creative with my settlements
Wow! This is amazing! Respect :)
Thanks Martin! Even crazier, this was long before mods. All the items were hand placed and would knock over if any settler or the Sole Survivor touched them. Appreciate the kind words!
@@Mysmi To be honest, I can't even imagine how difficult it was, your effort is mindblowing! The overall design is very inspiring, this kind of stuff could be usefull to Bethesda, if they even care...
I was inspired by the great fallout community I found with this game! It was a single player story with a great online community on reddit and TH-cam that helped me with my creativity. Check out my Nordhagen Beach build for some serious OCD item placing. Each placed before mods came to PS4
This is The builder that inspired me the most. Glad to pass his channel on! th-cam.com/video/uJM_85NYT64/w-d-xo.html
I just found your video. Awesome job. Looks great. I in joyed it very must. I was inspired by watching this video. Thanks for the great ideas.
Any chance you could put together a mod list in the description?
The mods i used are in the description. Most of it is just attention to detail.. hope you enjoyed!
I found your channel by seeing your comment about young sips. And he is not wrong. These are amazing and have plenty of creative clutter. All of it feels lived in and amazing while at the same time realistic and apocalyptic. Sips is not wrong about how good this is.
That’s a really nice comment, thanks you! Yung Sips was one of my inspiring builders. I love his builds
Like to know how to get doors into places they wont go... Anyone?
Yes bro fr
I'm a year late XD this is flippin awesome! Love the creativity of the build
I’m really glad that you enjoyed my build, regardless of how long it’s been. This has to be one of my better ideas/ themes for a settlement. Without narrating the walk through, I rely on the visuals telling the story. And a random settlement that.. grows and sells power armour?? I think the theme turned out well. And the inside. Not to be too much a fanboy of my own work, but it just came together so well! Ha, anyway thanks again for the nice words! Enjoy
I love your work my guy. Found you from cordless VII. The holotape is a nice touch! Also the fact you`re doing this on PS4 blows me away. Good job
I’m glad you enjoyed the build! I always tried to make a visual story in my walk through because I don’t narrate. This place especially, I enjoyed making. I liked the dichotomy of a BOS base so close to the minutemens original home ground at Sanctuary. Again, glad you liked it. If you’re impressed with my PS4 builds, check out my nordhagen build. That was before mods so each and every item was hand placed and will knock over if touched!
@@Mysmi will do for sure!
You did a good job
Thanks, Steven!
I would not want to lift weights down range lol. Cool concept of a build though. I don't get the flamethrowers behind the garage door. a testing area?
Thanks Michael, I’m glad you liked this build. I enjoyed building here. I tried to build a few areas to test the power armour scavenged from the wasteland
@@Mysmi Ah so was a testing area.Cool. I was going to go scrappy at Red Rocket as a garage was my plan but diner took over & built it clean again lol
It is deffenitly a different take then what I see a lot of others do. I'm a bit lost on how this flows together yet still seems to work but that is just conflict with my personal style. Makes me want to change approach. Great build.
Yeah this is and Somerville place were large settlements for me to build. I usually go with smaller areas. I was going for a caravan/ travellers outpost. Again, I kept all the existing junk and tried to cobble things together to make it look like it’s been built up over the years. The airplane pieces were the first thing I placed and then built around that. I tried to make it look like the plane crashed there organically as I could. Glad you enjoyed!
@@Mysmi Yea you nailed it. makes me want to change things up a bit. Next build going a little scrappy👊
I'm not one for scrappy builds but damn if one can't say this isn't lore friendy.
I think I went too clean with my coastal cottage build & I didn't even use mods other then creation club. If one cares to check it out. th-cam.com/video/SQ_m_QtrT64/w-d-xo.html
I really tried to make this place feel like it was the lone survivors hideout. I kept all existing junk and didn’t scrap anything. Just added what I thought would be realistic. Hope you enjoyed!
@@Mysmi It certainly goes with the lore aspect of the game. I tend to like clean & rebuilt. Through now feeling my builds are out of place lol. ai feel I returned to that with my egeret tours build.
3 words. One. Two. Dope.!!!!! 💯
4 words: Glad you like it!
This is build broke my brain. Everything is hand placed. Zero mods
Wow this guy need more subs hey!!!
Ha, thanks dude but it’s all about the detail! Subs don’t matter, just glad you liked my build :)
Holly jesus you replied
wow that was totally awesome. I had a laugh more than once. super cool man.
Thanks, neighbour! This build was a lot of fun to build. I had the idea of the BOS outpost here and i think it really came together well. I’m glad you liked the theme and story I tried to give. Again, thanks for the kind words!
0:47 am stealing that
Nine_nunb glad you liked the build! I’d be more than happy to see you builds :)
Very well themed and so creative. Nice pacing, and thank you so much for a nice quiet walkthrough
I do my builds completely different but this was amazing! It feels like something right out of the game. This was really impressive!
The deathclaw egg cooking on the bed frame in "Happy Grillmore's" is definitely a nice touch.
John Kosik that is one of my favourite touches. That bed was existing too, so I was doubly happy for the results
The power armor teleporter and furnace is genius!!! <3
Thanks a lot! This place was a lot of fun to complete
Very cool idea! I love how trashy it looks. Very lore-friendly and immersive. And I always appreciate it when people don't just turn every settlement into a prison compound. My Greentop *is* a box build but I prefer open settltments. Checking out more of your stuff now. I like browsing what other people build. :)
Onion Addict, thank you so much for those kind words. This game was such a great outlet for this type of creativity. I really liked building here, taffington boathouse and surprisingly Coastal Cottage. Those builds seem to have carried a theme the best throughout, in my opinion
@@Mysmi Oh yeah, Taffington is great! Built a settler family home there, made up a little story for them. Costal Cottage ended up my Mercer Safehouse. Building on it without scrapping the place was a bit... tricky. ^^ With mods, FO4's base building is the best thing ever! Unlimited possibilities! Currently addicted to No Man's Sky, base building is cool there too. But it lacks settlers, so it's quite the lonely affair. Probably won't spend hundreds of hours with it as I did and continue to do with FO4. In any case, I hope you're still building settlements! Would love to see more of your creativity. :)
Broooooo this is my gamertag on Xbox
5:13 funny shit right there man. Nice! XD
How did you override the build limit?
SM Outdoors, it’s the weapon glitch where you can drop weapons in a settlement and store them to reduce the size bar
