this was done with no mods or console commands ? mate I admire your perseverance and dedication to this build. This is obviously your home base. I build most of my settelments up as much I can to ensure a good happiness rating then build them up to how I like. This is a great example of how to utilise most items on the vanilla game. Very well put together.
Appreciate the kind words! This was my first build. I finished this before the automatron DLC came out, so it's as vanilla as it gets! I didn't even know how to use the rug glitch yet. I love this! You did a fantastic job. I really adore Jamaica Plain because it shows a person's level of creativity and imagination. Mine is a bit similar yet it's all enclosed. I ended up using the tops of the exterior windowsills as shelving.
Here from my own video returning the view and like. I tend to avoid watching settlement tours until after my own build is finished at a location (I focus better with a clear head rather than ideas) so this is new for me. It definitely has a more open vibe to the layout than the cramped space I turned mine into, with the small build bar here I can only guess how many times you used weapons workbench glitch 😮 awesome job. You also mentioned my style reminded you of your first build here, I've got to say in the first few seconds it reminded me more of my very first build at red rocket with the tower style and overhangs.

:D thanks! I don't think I'd be very good at a let's build. I'm too obsessive over the small angles and everything being straight. It would just be 20 minutes of me lining up floors. Appreciate it though
It's the weapon drop glitch. Go into your inventory and drop a bunch of single guns (gamma gun is the best). Go into workshop mods and store them in your workshop. This tricks the game into thinking you're scrapping structures and lowers the build limit. You can do it a few times before it starts to lag
you can go over size by equiping weapons in your build crafting table then dropping them on a floor ..mouse on a gun on the floor ,whenyou press tab key i give you a option to put back ..removes some of the size , do it 50 times continue to build away
gasdorfic muncher it's easier just to drop your junk & scrap it. Doing that also gives you an accurate count of your resources because you see cloth, wood, steel, screws, etc., instead of seeing office fan, power relay, baseball, etc.
Computer eh? Always altering the physics to get your way, what about us console player's? Please type in your next video that your playing on a computer....

SM Outdoors, it’s the weapon glitch where you can drop weapons in a settlement and store them to reduce the size bar
