Hi Smi, I came over from Mike's channel. Wanted to thank you for the words you gave to him on this New Years. Thank you! He's a great guy that puts in lots of work.
This is top quality! I don't see nearly enough children of atom builds, but yours is amazing. The details are so well thought out. I loved the radiation area, and the shrine to the plane crash (along with the flight data recording) gave me chills. The style of weapons shop is a fresh take on an oldie-but-goodie, which gives me the desire to build using the old school shops. It looks so good. And, damn I could totally live in that house. Man... I don't even know. Eerie, creepy and glorious overall. It's possibly even better at night, although I am partial towards night tours;) all of the glowing jars and candles are even more of a treat after dark. Great work, my smi! I love it all.
Aww those are really kind words Stacy, thank you. I really like how this place turned out. I thought this was a perfect spot for children of atom to stop at before the trek to the glowing sea. I might do a night walkthrough because the place really glows at night! Thanks again for the positivity. I'm a big fan of all your content so it's nice to read you enjoyed mine also. Cheers!
Glowing fungus in vases = win. The metal wall decorations at 1:19 are cool as hell. Also a huge fan of the bridge from the hill to the second floor of the house at 3:42. Gonna be stealing that for sure. I really like the concentrated small builds spaced out over the build area... it's both dense and not at the same time. Huge fan of that dichotomy. Do I need to start a gofundme to get you a mic, though? :P Narration would have added to this in a big way to explain why things are the way they are. ;)
Haha, thanks again for the positivity! This place turned out really cool. It all just kind of came together once I started placing all the lights. That metal wall is supposed to be a piece from the plane debris turned into a small shrine. That bridge and rooftop area worked out well too, those mats took forever to line up! I know a narration could have helped describe my build, but man just getting a good video I liked took way too long. Maybe I'll get my act together for the next build. Thanks again
Very cool build. It's funny. I'm also working on a children of atom build at Summerville place. Great job. Everything fits perfect. Loved the detail of the plane crash. The holo tape is the icing on the cake Keep up the great vids.
Thanks bry. I actually think this place is perfect for a COA settlement. It's the closest to the glowing sea so I figured it was a good spot. I got the idea for using holotapes to give a bit of narration from yung sips on TH-cam, his/her themed builds really inspired this build idea. Thanks again for all the positivity, I appreciate it!
This is lovely, we are all gonna begin working on Sommerville, seems like. I'm so excited to see what you come up with Bry! As soon as I'm done with County Crossing, I will scoot over there. Hope you had a lovely holiday season!!
Awesomeness!! this gave me so many ideas! oh and if you want a cool outfit idea for a Child Of Atom. I suggest the robes plus zealot marine armour. You'll need the UCO mod or some other mod that lets you put armour over anything. That combo gives a grim reaper of Atom feel. Again I love this settlement build!!
Ah thanks! It always is great to hear nice comments like yours. I will check out that armour your suggested. Children of Atom might be my favourite group in Fallout. They have so much character and I really like the backstory to them
Hey you're welcome! I'll admit the factions ideals are kinda kooky but after seing how devoted they are to Atom, a religion finding solice post war, drawing in a trained Enclave soldier and even select few being immune to the radiation.. makes you kinda wonder about "Atom" in Fallout. As there are aliens and both paranormal occult stuff in the games.. Yeah I highly suggest you try that armour combo. quite scary to look at when there's a radstorm!
OMG, I am in LOVE with this little place :) It made me smile :) There's so many details I love I can't even name them all, you did an outstanding job! If I could make a request for a video? I would love to see how you put the flowers inside the vases. I've only done it a few times, but you clearly have the hang of it better than me!! Thanks for sharing, I could watch this one a million times and not get tired of it!!
Aww that is so kind of you to say Denise! Comments like yours are what keep me and I'm sure everyone building! So thank you. I'm not sure how I'm going to make another walkthrough as interesting as this one but I'll try! You know what! The glowing fungas is really easy to place in the vases. I simply used workshop mode to place them and they stayed green and upright for me!
Have you seen my Imgur photo album? Or know what that is? I'm currently trying to figure out Coastal Cottage and a theme. Here is my survival bunker so far.. hope this link works imgur.com/gallery/WsbRN
You are most welcome! No kidding? Just put them into there in the build mode? I will try it, and other kinds of flowers too. It might not work that way with some of the others cause they are different shapes and whatnot. I'm making a flower shop at Vault 88 so that's one reason why I was curious. Thanks!
Phoenix that's how I managed to get them in. It was really quite easy. Even after they were placed I was able to select and rotate them to get them inside the vase
Faylen thanks! I tried to make it as realistic to how the Children of Atom decorate their spots. I didn't add any extra stuff, just junk related to COA. I'm glad you liked it!
I'm always watching peoples videos on TH-cam but I'd never heard of your channel or seen any of your videos before now. But now that I've seen some of your stuff, I'll definitely be checking you out regularly. You got my sub, and a like!
Awesome build! Really like this one! You and I, have a very similar building style. This one in particular is just so lore friendly and detailed, like it really could have been built by the Devs! Keep it up mate, and thanks for subbing my channel. Glad you like my work too! 😊 Feel free to steal any of my ideas as long as I can steal some of yours! Haha!
My Smi, I have two Red Rocket builds on my channel. Although, the most recent one is my favorite, you might want to have a look at its predecessor just in case there's anything on there that may catch your eye. 😊
I am loving the detail in this! Did you seriously glitch that armor workbench into one of those long cabinets? That is awesome! It's such a small thing but I liked that it made it easy for you to decorate around it and personalize it. Might end up borrowing that idea, if you don't mind. ;) I also have to give you props for your layout -- I'm one of those people that likes to wall in their settlements, but this worked so well spaced out into smaller, open structures that it makes me want to attempt a build in the same style someday. Great job! :)
Hey those are really nice words, thank you! This place actually was a lot bigger than I thought. I decided that this would be a perfect COA settlement and am pretty happy with how it turned out. As for the workbench and cabinet, go ahead and take the idea. Place the cabinet and use a rug or two to slide the workbench into the cabinet. Thanks again, and check out my Nordhagen beach build. There's a few glitched in workbenches and cool set pieces if you liked this one!
Thanks Willsin. I really had fun making this COA build. I loved the far harbour DLC and after finishing it I thought Somerville Place would be a perfect stop over for the Zealots on their way to the glowing sea. I'm glad you liked the build!
You know, I never really liked how overcast and rainy the weather was at Somerville Place. Luckily PS4 finally got mods and I could clear the weather up. Glad you liked my build! but I think my coastal cottage is my favourite build I've made. Check it out.
Hi Smi, I came over from Mike's channel. Wanted to thank you for the words you gave to him on this New Years. Thank you! He's a great guy that puts in lots of work.
Right on Mark. I've watched a bunch of Mikes content and he just seemed bummed out. I appreciate the kind words you said, thanks. Hope Mike cheers up!
I second that!!
Agreed. I am gonna go show him some love. I hope he doesn't stop building!

I would love to hear some narration as well! :)
This is awesome, the plane crash site is such a good idea. It looks so cool at night too :)
Thanks Emily! I love how it looks at night too. Thanks for checking it out!

My Smi yeah great location. I like how stormy it gets there as well. I've watched young sips vids as well.
Hey Bry, this is the first chance I've had to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope you've had a wonderful time of it! Much love!

They follow a weird ideology but in a world of supermutants,
Ghouls and deathclaws I'm not surprised to see a cult that praises the glow!
Glory to Atom!!!

looks fantastic!

Rhys Cooper you got it! And likewise, I'm glad I found your channel. I will be studying your red rocket build for future ideas
My Smi, I have two Red Rocket builds on my channel. Although, the most recent one is my favorite, you might want to have a look at its predecessor just in case there's anything on there that may catch your eye. 😊
Cool!
I froth the armour merchant with the boxcar and the windmill
nice build I'm going to get some DLCs soon so I'm thinking of doing this kind of build
I am loving the detail in this! Did you seriously glitch that armor workbench into one of those long cabinets? That is awesome! Thanks Willsin. I really had fun making this COA build. I loved the far harbour DLC and after finishing it I thought Somerville Place would be a perfect stop over for the Zealots on their way to the glowing sea.
I'm glad you liked the build!
Somerville is my third favorite settlement next to nordhagan and Sanctuary. good job making it look lived in.
You know, I never really liked how overcast and rainy the weather was at Somerville Place. Luckily PS4 finally got mods and I could clear the weather up. Glad you liked my build! but I think my coastal cottage is my favourite build I've made. Check it out.
Hi SMI ! I Just subed back ,,nice vid!
I can see you put a lot of time in your builds, great job!
I appreciate the kind words! Thanks
