Your eye for scrappy, particularly with decorating, is something I continue to envy (and steal from when I figure out how haha) :)
Well I am just so happy that you enjoyed the build! I love getting comments like yours. Validates all the time spent on detailing ;) you like that tower eh? That is the radio tower for The Castle, I just rug glitched it into the existing tower. I love how it fits perfectly. Makes sense to me that the recon team here would be trying to communicate and listen to the Commonwealth. I like keeping as much of the existing structures and items as I can and build into them. Or as you have termed it, I like to barnacle build. I saw from above where the existing garden should be and thought those Nuka World cages worked perfect as some kind of protected area for gardening. The rowboat fence is a part of the makeshift junk wall mod. I freaking love the variety PS4 users have now! The vertibird landing pad was the first set piece I built here and pretty much knew it had to become a BOS theme. I sunk everything just enough where I thought it looked like time had started to reclaim! Glad you liked the look! Again, thanks so much for all the support and kind words. Building is very cathartic to me so it’s nice to see the hours spent appreciated by others!
Ah I’m glad you liked it! I thought the hidden room was a neat touch. The build area is actually pretty small, but I tried to pack as much as I could without frame rate issue. Anyway, thanks again for all the positive comments!

I was thinking about doing a Railroad safe house, but it changed themes after I built the vertibird landing pad :) I’ll have to spend more time with the RR to get a better feel for their theme Thanks again for the nice comment!
Thanks a lot! Did you notice the relay tower is different? I added the tower from The Castle to the existing one here! Now there’s a bunch of radar dishes on it
Wish the base game gave us all this stuff to use as decorations and objects. Also wish the snapping system was removed and you could place anything anywhere within the limits. I’m looking at you junk walls
The game wouldn’t be a Bethesda Fallout game if it didn’t have awful building mechanics! Where would the enjoyment in that be? Thanks for the watch. Check out my Nordhagen Beach build. That was before mods. Every item is hand placed and would move if bumped into. I built that in one shot, without leaving the settlement
