5:00 As a manga reader, my issue with MVA is that they cut so much from it to the point where all of there characters feel shallow, especially the ones newly introduced who have the majority of their scenes cut and it was meant to be an arc narrated and focused on Spinner, but they cut most of his narrations and when he does have narrations in the anime, it feels thrown in and dumb. MVA was meant to come before the Endeavour Agency Arc and the swap between the two arcs took away a lot of the tension and, as you mentioned, spoiled the entire arc.

I been playing 2k16 recently and it was not at all how i remembered the gameplay is pretty bad ,25 is smoother but 25 is not a good game

Offline wise I actually like 2k25 idk i enjoy them i don't spend anything UT or anything but that's just me

i bought fc 25 on discount and tried to play without spending a single penny even if i were to pay hundred of dollars of there shitty micro transactions i would still say it's trash i haven't played a single minute of 2k and i know it's trash im not buying any sports games anymore.

I quit 2k my team after 2020 I hate the fact that after the servers shut down everything u did is just gone I want to be able to still use my team offline a lot of games just to have it wiped out not doing that again

This is why I been playing all the old games I find in store I'm not gonna pay 70 bucks for a game I'm gonna have to continue paying just to be somewhat close to good when I can wait for a discounts on the store go to a retro game and get good by just grinding

Maybe I wouldn't mind packs in sports games if those games had some quality to them. Yesterday I was playing Fifa 24, my center back got a red card late in the game, I wanted to replace my left winger with another center back. Guess what.... Nothing happened. The left winger stayed on the pitch for the last 15 in game minutes. And that's just one problem among many others, such as poor player AI or questionable ref decisions. When I think of Fifa 15 or 2k17, there were no such problems. Or 2k20, where I spent almost 900 hours without spending a single dime, it was just perfect... I just miss these times but idk, maybe there will be bettet sports games in the future but it‘ very unlikely

Microtransactions have done ao much damage to gaming...but as long as people spend money on this type of stuff we all will suffer for years to come. It's a coincidence that your talking about this, because I play the mobile game, and as I'm playing they took my earnings, twice. It's like they have the ai set up to keep you from advancing even at the cost of cheating. I never spend money in game with these apps. NBA live mobile is just straight garbage, and there people still making videos about how great they are, when they know it's trash. I believe those people are paid by EA to make those videos, because there is no way I could push such garbage as if it's not garbage. They are just greedy, and don't give af.

2k25 did a lot of good things but it just isn’t as fun as 2k16 which had less to do ironically. They need to make the cost of builds less OR give us a respec option since it’s literally an RPG game

Next gen has been so bad it makes me question why I moved on from my PS4, which I still was enjoying.

Problem is both 2K & EA have a monopoly so they’ve gotten greedy with micro transitions ! Back in the ps2 Xbox days you had so many options!! You had 2K, Madden, Blitz, Fever, Street, & more! NBA you had live, ballers, 2K, street, and many other options. Crazy in 2024 you only have one option for both.

Or you were a kid when you played and enjoyed old sports game. And your just sick of them cause your now an adult who has been playing sports game for years of your life. Theres nothing they can do to make a basketball game more enjoyable for people . Its basketball. Thats it. Every year its gonna be basketball because the game is basketball. If these games seem like they get worse every year youre the problem. Move on with your life.

11,12,16,17,19, and 2k20 were all better games than 2k25.

Another big issue with these newer sports games is that they lack re- playability after years of not playing it. In particular any sports games from the PS4/PS5 and X-Box one/series X era most of the games features don’t even work after a year or two due to the servers getting shut down. For example you’d do better playing almost any NBA 2k or Madden on PS2/PS3 or X-Box/360 and it would play like it just came out of the box because servers aren’t needed to enjoy the game and have all of its features. Not to mention the lack of competition amongst sports games. There’s no NBA Live, NBA Shootout, or even NBA Street or NBA Jam’s to compete with NBA 2k and there’s no NFL 2k, NFL Gameday, or even NFL Fever or Blitz to compete with Madden. It’s made it to where the sports gaming world is even more monopolized than where it already was with just microtransactions

2k25 is actually petty. I bought it when it was like 80% off. I only play freestyle,play now, and mynba. The most I do is play a game. It’s honestly so dry and plain. Madden is worse. The game is so buggy and it doesn’t look anything like the nfl on tv.

Time to go back to Live

Personally, as a gamer who played NBA Live 95 3 decades ago, I can say the game is of course way better but the thing that makes it worse is making it oma PvP Online competitive, despite its 2025 soon NBA2K25 is still at 60fps, this should be on 120fps next is micro shots and lastly they remove all the goods of offline modes. But playing NBA2K25 offline, even though there are a lot of bugs and shits, it's still way better and forgotten why this is the best sport. Game for decades is its achieve the most realistic fluidity. Watching my Live as my white noise is such an amazing experience that I haven't experience before. If I were busy then glance on jy tv it looks fuckin real

Sports games stopped being about promoting the sports itself. Nowadays Sports games are just promoting of advertising, products,,microtransactions,gambling and pay to win. Sports games are about EVERYTHING, but the sport itself Look at NBA2K. The whole purpose of the "City" is to make you waste as much time possible walking around instead of playing basketball and make you walk from one places to another watching all the damn product placements on the game. Is legit just a infinity TV ad with sponsors all over the game telling you "BUY THIS PRODUCT!".

NBA 2k25 is actually a really decent game. I would rate it a 6.5/10. I mainly play offline , I don’t touch the online game modes.
