12:51 I agree with kaido's fight fizzling out and the scabbard 100. This led to king vs zero taking the cake of roof piece. 14:28 Ending points disagree 100. It's not underrated or overrated in the slightest because it's exactly due to its faults existing and being overlooked shows how good the core of the anime is. One piece is the most complete long running anime ever and the best because it's biggest drawbacks are only on dragging out and lack of a more impactful soundtrack. Toei is known for drawing out anime a lot, so that can be excused despite being tiring because of how good the anime is. This anime has: Defined power ceiling - no one is stronger than the pirate king; Awesome world building to the point of having the spectator realize the world doesn't spin around the main crew; Great power system; Great well done op villains; Luffy and doffy are both the best hero and villain when it comes to using their powers to the max; Foreshadowing is God like; Secondary character development and even further other characters are top tier. This gives us an epic perception of how big the world is. An anime with all these strong points plus upgrading the animation to it's unique onion layered status just isn't present in others.
"Toei is known for drawing out anime a lot, so that can be excused despite being tiring because of how good the anime is." This is just pure bias and I can't agree with it. To each their own tho, i'm glad you like One Piece that much. It's nice having a series that you can get that invested in.
As a fan of the manga, I despise the anime I can’t watch without being annoyed with all the pacing issues it has. It’s why I have big hopes for the Wit studios adaptation
Thanks for all the comments lmao. You got me checking my notes like this is an assignment lmao. I was talking about the pacing when i mentioned those arcs. The "make sense" point was in reference to Gear 5th , Nika and the Gorosei part.
@BadTakeRisan hehehe, np I also prefer breaking down videos point by point to structure my opinion better, I ain't finished yet, just occupied with work, so expect the rest to come! Thanks for taking the time to read then all too!
No worries , I knew this might be a divisive opinion so I was expecting disagreements in the comments lmao. Even if I dont agree with some of your points, it's still pretty interesting to see how everyone processes the story differently.
2:14 overall agree with the pacing issues, but i disagree with the doffy vs luffy take. The fight was better because it served to expose and introduce what an awakened DF is. Even if G4 is stronger than Doffy, the struggle emphasized how much more powerful a fruit can be when awakened.
The final clash was meant to be a clear cut answer to who was stronger. The anime undermined that by having them struggle for so long. Also from a pure pacing stand point , Watching still frames and reaction shots while they struggle for 3 minutes is just pointless and boring. I'm not saying you can't like it but saying it was better is wild. If you're curious , watch the one pace edit of the fight ( a fan edit of the anime more in line with the manga's events) and I'm sure you'll prefer it over the actual anime.
@@BadTakeRisan I still maintain my point, cuz when I'm talking about stills is mostly from other anime. Regarding the fight again, you would benefit from watching either nux or gigguk or mother's basements takes on why a back and forth is more beneficial than one sidedness more often than not. ( I forgot which of the 3 it was )
Bro, the whole fight was back and forth what are you talking about?? Of course I agree that a back and forth is more interesting in a conflict than a one-sided victory in any story. To be clear, my point was that after the whole fight was essentially done and it came down to the FINAL clash, the anime dragged it out to pad out the episode and the manga didn't. Usually this would just be another case of slow pacing but in this case it had story implications. Making G4 and Luffy look weaker in the anime comapred to the manga. I think you should rewatch and reread the fight. It was back and forth in both versions. The only part I have a problem with is obviously the slow pacing and specifically the FINAL clash. This isn't even an unpopular opinion. Google "doflamingo Luffy final clash manga vs anime" and you'll see most fans agree that it was done poorly. Or just check the comments of the video that Crunchyroll uploaded of the fight.
One piece definitely is overrated in my opinion. Pre time skip is really good, and I wouldn't call it overrated, but time skip one piece just reeks. The anime makes the issues much much worse
@@Sandwich-5-sand Yeah post time skip one piece is pretty bad in the anime. I think it’s still pretty good in the manga, just not as good as people say it is
4:52 hmm so it seems this video was crafted pre-wano. But still, i have to disagree, even pre-wano. You perfectly outlined why animation inconsistency happens, but you were overly critical of it. It makes perfect sense to balance climactic episodes on higher quality and lesser / more story driven moments on lower quality. I think many people can accept this if the standard maintains itself for when it matters. This has always been the case. In contrast the anime i can say truly break immersion are 7 deadly sins or other lower end anime that switch up to cringe cgi or still action frames when it wasn't necessary. 5:40 I agree on disliking the dbz sound effects, but the auras have a reason to be there.
Nah i just worded it weirdly. I made the video after finishing Wano and dropped the series afterwards. Anyway on to your point, it has always been the case for long-running anime but those are few and far between nowadays. Also even by One Piece's own standards, Fishman Island, Punk Hazard and a lot of Dressrosa mostly looked bad with many fans switching manga after the timeskip. Also, the pacing took a nosedive. Regarding the DBZ auras and sound effects, I don't like them but that's subjective. The auras don't have a reason to be there tho, they're not in the manga, they weren't in the anime previous to Wano and were only introduced with this flashy, new art style. It looks great as I said in the vid, it just doesn't really feel like One Piece to me.
I agree. After Naruto and Bleach ended, One Piece basically became the DBZ of this era in terms of popularity. With that popularity came praise and acclaim, some of which, I think is underserved.
10:42 i heavily disagree with this point. Even if it's generally divisive g5 makes sense. The lore implications are too deep. The question of why the gorosei didn't act on it also makes sense, since the conditions for awakening are extreme, and the fruit itself could take over the user even if it happened. The fruit name change was also another layer of "protection" to try and ensure it was harder to happen since they didn't find the fruit for that long. So nika was an extreme case that they couldn't anticipate, only when they sent cp0 to wano. They expected Kaido to kill luffy and then they would invade and defeat the weakened Yonko, but big mom's presence and luffy's awakening were two very bad unfortunates. Ironically that was the trigger
That isn't consistent with what the Gorosei and WG have been shown to do. They killed pregnant women for months on an island for the chance of killing an innocent child who's father happened to be Roger. Now you mean to tell me that after Enies Lobby, that same oraganisation wouldn't hunt down and kill Luffy? Luffy at that point was already a criminal and a growing threat to the World Government. It only gets worse as he becomes more prominent. The real answer imo is that Oda did not have the nika nika fruit in mind where writing these arcs. It's the typical long running shonen curse, all the mcs eventually have hidden legendary lineage or a bestowed plot hole inducing power to satisfy the ever growing power creep. Happened to Naruto, happened to Bleach, happened to DBZ and is now happeneing on One Piece. This one is more dissapointing since OP writing held up for so long that I thought it was above this.
@BadTakeRisan still disagree, even though it might seem logical of a change since long-running time, this anime while inspired in dbz it doesn't fall for the power creep like it seems. Even if you disagree with the lack of thoroughness of the world government, luffy reaching Yonko level was inevitable. Power creep happens the most when an anime doesn't establish both a good power ceiling and power system. The power system in OP seems muddy now with the new applications of haki, but there are no ass pulls for power. Everything is foreshadowed with many arcs behind. But all the anime that have true power creep don't have a power ceiling, constantly breaking the limit of what the strongest villain is. I'll go deeper soon.
@@BadTakeRisan To finish the power creep point, Dbz falls into a never ending cycle of stronger enemy beats up mc, gets zenkai boost, trains beats up new villain. This came at a heavy cost of the secondary characters lagging extremely behind, and the anime hyper focusing on Goku + Vegeta only. This is due to a lack of a power ceiling; Then the power creep worsened in Dbz super where there were tons of power ass pulls like goku eating a genki dama to get UI. Alternate universe sayans getting a tingly back to insta transform into super sayans, which was a much worse retcon than Nika ( if it actually is a retcon ) and so on. This actually made me value Dbz GT more since goku decided to stay dead since he knew stronger villains would keep coming. So he " broke" the cycle that way. Naruto fell in the same trap on shippuuden where the anime was just Naruto + Sasuke + Madara and when the author couldn't defeat Madara, had to ass pull Kaguya. Not to mention the pacing was atrocious comparing to one piece. I prefer dragging out to completely breaking the momentum for totally unrelated fillers after a major cliffhanger. The list goes on. To me, that's true power creep, in comparison nika is but a drop in the ocean compared to those...
DBZ and Super are two different shows. The actual DBZ, while it still had power creep, wasn’t nearly as ridiculous. Characters like Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo and Tien all got moments. Even Goten and Kid Trunks. It wasn’t the Goku and Vegeta Show yet.
@joaobispo2602 That’s fair I probably focused on how the WG reacted too much. I do think Gear 5th is a plot hole tho, not just very contrived. Also it doesn’t really matter if him becoming Nika was unlikely, after Enies Lobby he was a threat regardless. My point was that he should’ve been hunted by that point due to the combination of having the Nika fruit AND what he’d done + the whole Will Of D thing that’s seems to have been forgotten in recent years.
the gorosei literally have been trying to kill luffy though. after ennies lobby they send kuma to kill luffy at thriller bark, but he doesn’t. then they send kizaru to kill luffy at sabaody, but he’s saved by kuma again. then luffy was one of the main targets at marineford but makes it out alive. the gorosei didn’t know that luffy was at punk hazard because smoker was siding with the strawhats and probably didn’t report that he was there. at dressrosa the gorosei help doflamingo and probably expected luffy to be killed by doffy or fujitora. the marines and gorosei would have struggled to invade big moms territory, and if they did, a full out war would have broken out. same thing with wano, the world government can’t interfere without a war breaking out, and they also had problems at the reverie at the same time. so when they have the chance to take out luffy at egghead, they sent an admiral, all vice admirals, a buster call, and all of the gorosei .
No they haven’t. Everything you mentioned, apart from the egghead part which I didn’t read since I haven’t seen egghead, has been just because Luffy was wanted as a problematic pirate by the world government. He was never explicitly targeted by the Gorosei until egghead (again, I haven’t seen egghead but after reading some spoilery comments, it seems he’s finally targeted by the Gorosei there). Edit: I read the last part of your comment. That proves my point even more, look at how they went for him and all the resources they used to try and catch him in egghead. They never did that before. The real reason is likely Oda never planned for Luffy’s devil fruit to be Nika Nika. Retconning that breaks the past lore and events with the Gorosei.
@@BadTakeRisan um yea, he’s wanted as a problematic pirate because of the nika fruit lmao. like if u can give an example of what else they could have done without having a full out war break out then fair enough. but he was targeted and they were trying to kill him literally since ennies lobby. like how are they to expect luffy to get away from kizaru, kuma, and all the pacifistas. he literally wouldn’t have gotten away if kuma wasn’t a traitor. and after dressrosa there was just no way for them to get to him
Look at the level of aggression in the egghead retrieval attempt. Look at all the resources they called upon to catch Luffy. You mean to tell me the sent Kuma , a Warlord, to catch this fruit they’ve coveted for hundreds of years? They killed PREGNANT women for months to try and find ace. But the most important fruit in the world and they’re like , nah let’s just send Kuma? It’s not consistent. It doesn’t make sense and it implies that Luffy’s fruit being Nika Nika was an asspull, which is my main point.
@@BadTakeRisan bro, kuma literally could have killed everyone in that island lmao. like that point makes no sense. they sent more than enough power to take him out. but kuma betrayed them and let luffy live. kuma even told them that luffy was dead lol.
I’m not doubting Kuma’s capabilities, I’m doubting the level of importance put on capturing Luffy before Wano. But whatever, we don’t agree and that’s fine.
Biggest issue with One Piece is simple….Death. Oda’s overuse of fake deaths is the worst part of his storytelling. Even the pacing is only a problem while reading week to week. Once arcs are complete and people can read from start to finish at their own pace that typically changes and they enjoy it much more. And Gear 5th is not a retcon at all. No idea where you got that from. It’s been foreshadowed since pre time skip over 2 decades ago.
@@BadTakeRisan the iconic Nika pose is shown since Skypiea in one of Oda’s top 3 images in the entire series. That isn’t by chance. It was obviously planned and had major importance. Hence foreshadowing.
@SensiBurning90 How is showing Nika’s pose foreshadowing Luffy having Nika’s fruit? If anything , it just foreshadowed the existence of Sun God Nika which is fine. I’m asking you how exactly does the foreshadow Luffy having the Nika Nika fruit ?
@@BadTakeRisanthe name of Nika isn’t what’s important for it to be foreshadowing. It’s the meaning and themes that it all portrays. Which is that of the Sun god who brings joy as he liberates people. Time and time again Luffy has been the joyful liberator who is closely tied in to the Sun and the dawn. These aspects have always been there waiting to come together and form the full image of who Luffy truly is.
@SensiBurning90 Sure but the fruit being retconned was not foreshadowed. If anything, based on your points Luffy being a spiritual successor to Nika. The fruit being changed was a retcon to a core part of the story
The logical explanation for why the government never went against Luffy is Shanks. Shanks protects Luffy from day one, Shanks is a celestial dragon, and shanks can and does negociate with the gorosei when needed. From there, it's pretty safe to assume he told them something along the lines of "If you try to go after his fruit you're up against me", and the government has always been reluctant to go against any of the Yonko. It's especially probable considering Shanks is the one who stole the fruit to begin with and one of the only people in the world who would know its importance and do his best not to waste it. Chances are he's in a deadlock with the government ; they can try to go after Luffy if he offends them in any way, but they can't deploy massive forces as an excuse to get the fruit, or Shanks would retaliate. A yet unexplained element isn't the same as a plothole. People have tried to find holes in One Piece for decades and pretty much always been proven wrong once Oda judged it was time to make a reveal.
@@BadTakeRisan ? Yes, it is. I believe it to be the modern odyssey, and an unmatched work of fiction when it comes to slow-burn storytelling. I do think people who watch the anime shoot themselves in the foot though, it's fine for important scenes but an absolute chore during casual episodes
I agree with a lot of things for the most part, but my biggest problem is the comedy, from one episode to the another, you see people starving, being slaved and there is moments where is not said, but you can draw the conclusion of suicide and sexual assault/rape, and the next you see eyes popping out, extreme cartoonish characters and attacks with alot of humor. Kaido put a whole country down to its knees, with slavery, famine, torture and much more, and Luffy was serious alot of the time during the fight, but the gear 5 put that down for the most part, with his laugh and cartoon logic, making everyone eyes pop out of their sockets with the tongue sticking out of the mouth, and the sound effects of the 60' in the anime doenst help either. Luffy was fighting Hitler and i couldnt care less because it was not taken serious taking acount all of his crimes
Yeah there’s definitely some whiplash. Kaido exploits and enslaves an entire country and then gets drunk and cutesy while Luffy runs around like a Tom and Jerry character. Very weird choice from Oda
I and many more One Piece Fans love One Piece and see it`s flaws. Why not loving the show and knowing that it has it flaws. It is still IMO one of the best story`s, that i have consumed. The main reason for that, is that no other show made me this emotional, i never laughed or cried so hard for another story. Good Video, tho.
@@BadTakeRisan I know that is not you intension, either. You have valid points of course. But i will say, that no story is written perfect. Every Story, espacially that long make mistakes. @tobiase9205 Omniscient Reader vewrpoint, Shadow Slave, Lord of the mistery these are some examples of perfect stories. Something about One Piece is Tower of God, also One Piece is not that good at connecting the dots if most of them are retcons

Egg head spoiler! In the recent chapter, Saturn said that luffy escaping was not a failure, but for imu, it was . Elders can die as well it seems. So maybe, the elders might not know the real deal behind the fruit. I am just hoping that this plot hole is solved, else I dont have other problems with the series so far. it is ok to have some flaws, but cemented plot hole is a problem. edit: OP makes up for some minor plot holes by being on of the most compelling stories of all time imo.
I dropped the series after Wano so I don’t know the context of 90% of this comment lmao. I decided to catch up and make a follow up video so I’ll reply to the comment after that. In terms of the plot hole, so is the Gorosei not hunting down Luffy sooner explained ? Sure OP makes up for minor plot holes by being compelling but the bigger the plot holes get , the harder they are to make up for.
@@BadTakeRisan it is not explained yet, but I hope it does idk why, but it truly is bothersome, left a bad taste in my mouth. luffy's gear 5 has been orchestrated wonderfully in egghead tho (imo at least), specially at the end. Elders not going after luffy sooner is a mystery unsolved atm.
@UmangaBaral-ku2xo The way it was used / introduced in Wano at the literal climax of the arc was one of the things that annoyed me the most . I’m glad to hear that at least the way G5 is implemented is better in Egghead.
I do not get why you spent a fourth of your one piece review talking about the "plothole" of the gorosei going after the gum gum fruit as if it in any way has a large impact on the story. For one thing the panel with the gorosei talking about the fruit comes from the chapter revealing nikka and the form, this means that Oda, who is very purposeful made the choice to showcase these two things at the same time. Since it has only recently been established I don't see why it's so hard to believe Oda will elaborate soon on what they really meant by that when we see the history of joyboy and the will of d. You have a good handle on video production but script wise if you want to continue making reviews like this I would suggest a tighter narrative. Not defending the anime but the manga section of the video does not even discuss in any detail any good aspects of the series which are various. Based on your channel name this very well might be bait but it irks me so I guess you win if thats the case.
The Gorosei point does matter. If the world government have supposedly been trying to get this fruit for 800 years, they could’ve easily captured and killed Luffy to get it earlier on in the series. That large of a plot hole matters. It doesn’t make sense. The video was about why I think One Piece is overrated. Going over the good aspects of the series was irrelevant to my point. I just wanted to go through what bothered me about the Anime/Manga and what I thought made it overrated. I have a more comprehensive video coming out soon that covers if I think One Piece is actually worth watching /reading. I think it would make more sense to go over the positives and negatives in a video like that. And no, it’s not bait lmao. I just thought the channel name was catchy 🤣.
@@BadTakeRisan Its hard to say exactly why the Gorosei didn't pursue Luffy more aggressively, but I think the biggest point was secrecy. The gorosei wanted Whos Who killed because he knew of the legend of Nika from his time in Impel Down, and only told CP0 to assassinate him because he was a defector. The gorosei wanted all the buccaneers eliminated and to prevent Kuma from passing their knowledge to his daughter because they knew the legend of Nika, but told the CP agent to block all communication instead of telling them what to censor. Its secret knowledge that the revival of Sun God Nika is tied to a devil fruit. I believe the gorosei didn't even want Cipher Pol to know about Nika, and refrained for targeting someone like Luffy to avoid having their focus on him questioned. From Water 7 to Wano their focus was controlling the access to ancient information, Robin was supposed to be the primary target even in Wano. I even think its plausible the gorosei didn't know Luffy had this DF until Marineford. When CP0 were on Wano with Luffy, he didn't even become a priority until the gorosei learned that his awakening became a possibility, and could pin the assassination on Kaido and Big Mom. Without some knowledge the audience is missing, it does feel like a potential plot hole, but there are details or foreshadowing Oda often hides in plain sight that we don't recognize are plot relevant until he reveals it to us later. I firmly believe this event is just missing context. Zoro learning to cut steel in his fight vs Mr 2, or Aokiji just "sparing" Robin and Luffy in their first meeting; in the moment these seem like someone writing themselves into a corner, but nobody feels that way now. Oda has told the audience that his plan from beginning to end was mapped out and he draws and writes to connect the dots. I believe some elements are just yet to be explored, like Pells unnatural vitality being more than just "I'm Zoan so I'm hard to kill", i think it has more to do with the unexplored title given to Yamamoto and Chacka; a Guardian Deity. A better example of a potential plot hole would be Shanks losing his arm to a sea king then using (possibly) Conquerors Haki to scare it away, why didnt he use Haki before his arm was taken? After the the timeskip its hard to see that scene without bringing up Armament Haki, but another 500+ chapters later we get to see dots connect that were clearly there that nobody could have predicted. When we contextualize this around the information revealed in Wano, that it's Cipher Pol he stole the Nika fruit from, he may have let his arm be taken to make it seem like he was bested in combat. From the gorosei's perspective its most likely he lost the arm and the Nika fruit at the same time. The only goal of my (essay) comment here is to say unexplored and unresolved elements of a well thought out story may be frustrating to impatient readers but, unless those elements are abandoned, they are not plot holes. We don't know why Cipher Pol was transporting the Nika fruit in the first place, we don't know how shanks knew it was the Nika fruit, we don't know when the gorosei had their conversation about the Nika fruit and we don't know what Shanks warned them about, but I do believe we will get these answers in time. I don't get that kind of reassured feeling from other authors. I really do believe one piece is peak shonen, peak worldbuilding, and peak foreshadowing. *Edit* The anime started turning sour with extended intros and outros and drawn out fights/reactions in Skypeia, and turned unbearable by Thriller bark. I've been manga only since then.
@XDMickfrick I get your point but what you’re saying essentially boils down to “trust Oda , it’ll make sense eventually”. Secrecy is not a valid excuse, they could’ve easily justified capturing him after Enies Lobby for the crimes he committed. They murdered pregnant women on an island for months to try and kill Roger’s child, when it comes to the threats the Gorosei have demonstrated a 0 tolerance , no risk approach. At best, it’s inconsistent writing and a retcon and at worst it’s a plot hole. Nika’s existence was an afterthought, just like Haki. Unfortunately it was introduced 1k chapters in…
@@BadTakeRisanI think you could make this point for literally almost any top tier story ever. Why didn’t Sauron just jump and kill the crew in early lord of the rings. Why didn’t Voldemort just jump and kill Harry early on. Why didn’t orochimaru just kill Naruto early on. Saturn himself says that he hasn’t set foot on the ground in like 150 years or something. I’m sure they don’t usually concern themselves with the going on the sea. No one had awakens that fruit in like 1,000+ years why would they jump the gun and assume he will. Then they would have to sail around the east blue to find him and why would they put in that much effort.
I feel like it’s a good show but I would agree that it overhyped a little and I watch it every week
This is due to a lack of a power ceiling;
Then the power creep worsened in Dbz super where there were tons of power ass pulls like goku eating a genki dama to get UI.
Im honestly surprised how the manga is still going without boring its readers even naruto got boring after awhile but somehow one piece keeps going
I mean I guess. Even if some of it doesn’t make sense, at least it’s entertaining.
the gorosei literally have been trying to kill luffy though. after ennies lobby they send kuma to kill luffy at thriller bark, but he doesn’t. then they send kizaru to kill luffy at sabaody, but he’s saved by kuma again. then luffy was one of the main targets at marineford but makes it out alive. the gorosei didn’t know that luffy was at punk hazard because smoker was siding with the strawhats and probably didn’t report that he was there. at dressrosa the gorosei help doflamingo and probably expected luffy to be killed by doffy or fujitora. the marines and gorosei would have struggled to invade big moms territory, and if they did, a full out war would have broken out. same thing with wano, the world government can’t interfere without a war breaking out, and they also had problems at the reverie at the same time. so when they have the chance to take out luffy at egghead, they sent an admiral, all vice admirals, a buster call, and all of the gorosei .
Pacing is the only problem, well that, and that there arent enough chapters
🤣
Biggest issue with One Piece is simple….Death. Oda’s overuse of fake deaths is the worst part of his storytelling. Even the pacing is only a problem while reading week to week. Once arcs are complete and people can read from start to finish at their own pace that typically changes and they enjoy it much more.
And Gear 5th is not a retcon at all. No idea where you got that from. It’s been foreshadowed since pre time skip over 2 decades ago.
So you think that Luffy having the Nika Nika fruit was foreshadowed? 😂
@@vvey4523 Is One Piece your favourite anime/manga?
@@BadTakeRisan ? Yes, it is. I believe it to be the modern odyssey, and an unmatched work of fiction when it comes to slow-burn storytelling.
I do think people who watch the anime shoot themselves in the foot though, it's fine for important scenes but an absolute chore during casual episodes
Nice
@@vvey4523dont smoke weed too much 💀
I agree with a lot of things for the most part, but my biggest problem is the comedy, from one episode to the another, you see people starving, being slaved and there is moments where is not said, but you can draw the conclusion of suicide and sexual assault/rape, and the next you see eyes popping out, extreme cartoonish characters and attacks with alot of humor.
You have potential my guy
Thanks man 🤙🏾
I and many more One Piece Fans love One Piece and see it`s flaws. Why not loving the show and knowing that it has it flaws. It is still IMO one of the best story`s, that i have consumed. The main reason for that, is that no other show made me this emotional, i never laughed or cried so hard for another story. Good Video, tho.
And that's fine, who am I to stop anyone enjoying One Piece lmao. Even though I have problems with some of the story points, it's still fun.
@@BadTakeRisan I know that is not you intension, either. You have valid points of course. But i will say, that no story is written perfect. Every Story, espacially that long make mistakes. But it is, till this day a great story, IMO. And nobody will reach, what Oda did. I don`t know any Story this long and this good. He is a master in connecting his World, Charackters, Story. I don`t think, anybody will achieve, what Oda did with One Piece. Of course, there are many great storys in Manga, Books..etc. maybe some are better than One Piece. But it is the greatest Long Story, that i know. :)
@tobiase9205 Omniscient Reader vewrpoint, Shadow Slave, Lord of the mistery these are some examples of perfect stories. Something about One Piece is Tower of God, also One Piece is not that good at connecting the dots if most of them are retcons
@@gladiaxfire6970 Thanks for the recommendation, i will gladly look this up. I appreciat new recommendations and i am very open minded for new, and probably better things. Have a good one, pal. :)
I totally agree with the wano take
Are you watching / reading Egghead? Is it better than Wano? I kinda lost interest after Wano and dropped One Piece but I’m tempted to come back
I do not get why you spent a fourth of your one piece review talking about the "plothole" of the gorosei going after the gum gum fruit as if it in any way has a large impact on the story.
Unfortunately it was introduced 1k chapters in…
@@KaiWinterle imagine saying a plot hole doesn’t matter LOL get off Odas dick
Just saying sounds like you just wanted to pick on one piece for this when almost every single one of your favorite stories does this in some capacity! 🤷♂️
Is it overrated? If the expectation is like 10/10 but the show is really more of a 8.5/10 or 9/10, then i guess you can consider overrated. Is it still worth watching anyway? Absolutely
