These are great podcasts, every time I miss the live streams I'm bummed out. I'll be done filming in Cleveland in a week then going to Hollywood for a couple weeks, will keep trying to catch the next livestream. Won't be back home in Florida until this winter.

Also most of the Queen Anne's stuff is at ECU (in Greenville NC btw) for research, away from the public Also its Beaufort (Bo-fort)

I edited and turned AC black Flag into a TV show. inspired by yall I have also turned all ac games into a whole tv series where each game is its own season. But the Black Flag one is for sure the best.

The series Black Sails actually shown a scene of Blackbeard getting the mercury injected into his goober. So despite it being a mixture of fictional Treasure Island pirates and historical ones, it did manage to blend in actual accounts.

Such a underrated classic, deserved more seasons, deserves a blu ray release.

that place is so iconic, i recognized it before i even read the title.... and it's been about ten years since i last saw it. it's weird because i was thinking about this museum just a few days ago and how i would love to see it again. my kids were only little tykes when we were there. they barely remember the trip but they remember the museum and the fort.. my youngest son specifically remembers the guard at the fort entrance. he was dressed in period clothes and had a bag of coins, souvenirs for the kids. my son was afraid of him at first, but then he heard that bag jingling lol he's been collecting coins ever since. he also has a pretty big fascination with pirates (think Pirate Steve....yeah...) it's funny how those seemingly little insignificant things help shape your personality when you're little.

So freaking cool.

@History of Pirates At 8:24 you say that: "the story (for the ending of the animated series - I presume) is pretty much written" Are you thinking of the ending from the Sega Genesis game that use again in the animated series or do you have knowledge/sources that tell you there is a storyline made for the rest of the animated series? :)
