The Valor vs Venom Beachhead is uniquely bad, because the figure is terrible, but the filecard is describing some individual that is NOT Beachhead.

It's an interesting video, although I wish you would have ranked within toy lines. I don't care about the Live action movies, or the toy lines from the various limited run reboots. So I wish I could have skipped some of that. Cobra has always felt to me like they were using advanced "sci-fi" tech. So all this complaining about "well it just felt sci-fi and I didn't like it" doesn't resonate with me. I thought the cobra-la characters were interesting, until I saw the cartoon. I personally preferred the "Cobra Commander is a normal human" approach to the character. The Mega Monsters and the Valor vs Venom at least felt like it came from somewhere. (Also, most of the V-troops didn't actually look like they were crossed with anything.)

Larry Hama is the official cannon for G.I. Joe IMO. There are great moments that the series brought us, but it was never cannon per se. I do however agree that both combined together mesh into a mixed cannon. Except Sitterson screw that hippie.😂

i would like to see an episode of figure design . A computer drawing program where ya over-lay a persons body as a GI Joe figure and see what they would look like with designers proportions. if you had the body features of a character would you actually go thru with that design... like (v vs v) little torso / long legs docs tiny head sculpt what????? or the infamous stupid 23:17 "square-crotch"

Yeah after GI Joe the Movie I lost all interest in GI Joe because of how they changed the characters and military tone. Came across really cheesy and forced

Funny thing about the Doc figure, I bought several of them when Toys R Us was clearing them out. Used them (or at least his head) for a Bullet Proof (from COPS) custom along with that Cobra Commander from the rise of Cobra line. As for the Classified Roadblock I made him into the Dreadnock Burn Out. In fact I bought several of them when Target was clearing them out back in December for customization.
