The scary part about that version of Snake Eyes is how perfect of a figure he was solo. Adding Timber in there with him was Hasbro taking it up to 11 just because! 😄

Apsara the rat is very much based in real world landmine disposal. Rats are smart enough to sniff them out and alert to one when found .and they're too small to trigger it
As soon as I saw the title I immediately gave it a thumbs up! 👍 what an interesting and intriguing topic! Love it! ❤ 100% agree with your number 1 Snake Eyes and Timber 💯🤩
You can never have too many dogs. Sandstorm was a Coyote not a dog. Porkbelly is a Warthog not a Boar. Dolphins(and Sea Loins) are used by the Navy to find mines as well as other objects, and to detect enemy ships. Rats were used as mine finders they are able to be trained to find mines and are too small to trigger them.
I never thought of the pets as soldiers. I always thought of them as specialists who can hunt, retrieve, and go some places their owners can't. Great video as always, sir!
Have you heard some of the names given to police dogs? Order is a good name compared to some ive heard. One was ran threw my car one time whose name was "Tactical". I could see Order being a police dog
Good fun list, but there were a few omissions. For honorable mentions, V.2 Eel’s roboshark should’ve been on the list, as well as, Neurotoxin’s mechanical scorpion; which was later used by the Collector’s Club for Desert Scorpion. Since Kangor was mentioned, the rest of Forca Fera should’ve been mentioned as well, such as Urzor’s bear, Leontor’s lion and Tigor’s tiger. In the Sigma Six toy line, Storm Shadow also came with a tiger. Widescope was introduced in the Spytroops toy line and he has a dog, named Lamont. The Rise of Cobra toy line gave us the Elite Viper and the Cobra Night Adder, who both have dogs. Also, the Collector’s Club gave us a Sludge Viper, named Repulsor, who came with a zombie dog.
@@DestroIsMySpiritAnimalBaroness came with Ravage for the Transformers crossover. Ravage isn't technically a robot, it's a living mechanical being/alien from another planet 😂
Fun list even if pets are ridiculous. I loved when a figure came with one. I personally would put Order much higher on my list. Probably would be #4 or #5 for me. It’s a great match-up. Like you said, it’s one of the few that makes sense. And I loved the duo team from the animated movie. I would put Polly way lower on my list. I know he’s an iconic character, but I always hated the “comic relief” characters in 80s cartoons, and that was Polly for sure. So just out of finding the bird annoying, I would put him a lot lower on my list. Thanks for doing this video. It was a ton of fun to see all of the pets that have come out over the years.
Raptor would've been a much better character if they had made him into a cobra paratrooper or something along those lines, and instead of the vulture look or the goofy winged look he has been given, make it like a wing suit of some sort. That way he could jump off heli's or buildings and crash in through a window or something and the raptors being more like a lookout. His head gear could have a view port with a camera on the birds perched keeping an eye out for him to infiltrate areas, and with the view port on his head gear, he could see what they see. That's how I always used him growing up.
I was looking through a book about GI Joe figures and saw Undertow. So ridiculous. Going to a convention in November and will look for it, because it's dumb. Great, fun video and list.
As for another vid...maybe do one on the remaining Dreadnoks from the comics and past lines that you would love to see in Classified? Or, silliest vehicles from the Joes and Cobra?? Or, Oktober Guard members??
They do have rats trained for Landmine and ordinance detection. you need to keep raptors blinded to keep them chill when not working, (like covering your pet birds cage to calm them. hence the blinder caps for the figures.
In order for some of Cobra's pets to make sense they should make them robotics that would address why they only attack their owner's enemies and explain why they are so big
Another fun video! Totally agree -- Timber is the best. Other thoughts: Raptor's OG falcon was named Talon, which gets a nod from Classified Raptor's newly given file name. A few more for the list: Wide Scope's dog Lamont, Night Adder's un-named dog, and Classified Slaughter's (er, "Mad") Marauders Spirit's bird Niyol. (EDIT: I see those are listed in another comment below. My Bad.) Speaking of Voltar's Condor, coincidentally, I know some people who used to have an absolutely massive St. Bernard named Lord.
When you spoke about the Whale, it reminded me of that Star Trek movie when the Capt. Kirk is trying to get Jillian to give him the Whale's transmission frequency. She asks him "you're not going to train them to do dip shit stuff like tracking down torpedoes, are you?" Kirk responds "No ma'am, no dip shit stuff". Clearly, she was a marine biologist aware of the GI Joe dip shit usage of animals.
I used to have numbers 20, sandstorm, sonic pack order, slaughter's Marauders junkyard (still have but not mutt) and freedom, the original 80s pork belly, Max the original and the original timber as a kid

This video pretty much proved something I was thinking about a few weeks ago. G.I. Joe never had a female/pet combo. Hopefully Classified will make that a reality someday.
They should release an accessory pack for Jinx, Covergirl, Scarlet and Baroness. They could call it the "JD Vance: Cat Lady attack pack". It could include a dozen fully articulated felines so each character can have three or four of them.
The Baroness came with Ravage in the Gi Joe transformers cross over. Ravage is a Cybertronian jaguar. A living mechanical being/alien. So, not a robot😂

I'm using Movie He-Man as Dar the Beastmaster and giving him all the Joe Animals. So that's Timber, Spirit, the Warthog, the dogs, and everything else. Also, I have my Joe's being taken over by General Thunderbolt Ross, so my poor Joe's are 'Hulk Hounding'. But Cobra can't rest, because with alternates, Generics like Soldier and Marine, and Valaverse, I've made a Sgt. Nick Fury Jr 'New Howling Commando's' Team!
