Is that an ls head,......😂
My 67 hi boy 3/4 ton was stolen after having it 12 years and 2 motors 300 6's my work truck every day driver . Sad well 💔
That's beautiful workmanship ❤ love my 300 6 297g miles absolutely no oil consumption. Most reliable motor I've ever had .
What in tarnation is that manifold
Exactly the combination I was thinking about in my head but I was to de stroke it to 3.85
This sounds insane!
Updates?
I don’t give a damn who you are this is one of the most bad ass builds out there been waiting to see what it sounds like love it it’s amazing blessings
Love the sound. Did you keep the stock cam?
@@JoyfulNoiseGarge no its a howards
Finally a running video!!!
This is SUCH a great idea. All of the big sixes need a crossflow head SO badly. I hope this runs like a scalded dog....
Could run a plate In between the block and head to make the cylinder alignment better? Would that throw the compression numbers off to the point it wouldn't run.
Thats AMAZING ! BUT when will we see a dyno run and some street driving?
I'm forever wondering when someone will sell a flow-through 300 head.
A shame Ford didn't produce serious performance pieces from the beginning...the 240 was the 1st of this...
EXCRUCIATINGLY AWESOME YO! KUDOS ON THE BUILD 💯
What's expected output an what's inside ??? All stock or ???
4/6 h /??? Life gives ya oranges Lemons make Juice....
2 small 4X carbs on adapter plates ... Better than 2x ... Economy and fuel dump ...
Been Someone's Toy ???
Tractor Engine....
Is that an LS head on a Ford 300? Wow!
Yep, two of then cut and welded together, been following builds like this for a few years now, sure wish I could build me one for a 69 F-100... oh well I can watch vids and dream.
@@TrashPanda71Why do they do that?
@abrahamhetze A whole lot of extra airflow and less heat that the exhaust side imparts to the intake manifold. Look up most any inline engine and you will see that both intake and exhaust are on the same side, and crappy designs overall.
What ever happened to this?
That’s a custom intake if I’ve ever seen one.
That's awesome to get to experiment with this. I was wondering if you have heard Sherman Sligh explaining his building of the boss 302 head to the 300 and the ways he corrected a lot of issues with head cracking and cold welds etc? Here is a link to his decent explanation of how he welded it, it makes sense and might be worth considering if you're head has a failure. His head was 6 pieces. Video of interview with Sherman Sligh explaining what exactly he did creating this entire engine. th-cam.com/users/liveYE-NHC3K8ek?si=JETLqTu9EykQYCFc
Very cool stuff, but the shaking camera causes some motion sickness.
Have you gotten any run time to see if it get hot under a driving load?
You should patent that head and sell them for us strait 6 guys lol
Nice work!
I wish Jon Kaase would build a version of this head
The people who cut & shut Cleveland iron heads for these motors want HP
So many people are trying to improve the 300. Problem is the long block is indestructible at 3500 rpm or less. If you throw more top end power the bottom end needs some live too. The crank is only good for 5k tops and not prolonged
5k? Here in Argentina the crankshaft is made to withstand 9000 rpm with original engine heads😊
We spin ours to 6500 on the drag strip.
@Cutandgrindgarage cool, but will it last at 6500 rpms as an everyday driver? Also, if you are running it at the stripe, is it stock?
Curious how you did the individual coil conversion, whats the setup on that?
It's an GM HEI module. And remote coil.
🥝✔️
🔥
Balance pipe between intakes ? Merge headers to make it 1 engine instead of 2 seperate 3 cylinder engines ?
One actually running more than 5 seconds subbed put it in a car with some boost Stat 😅
Give us the specs on the camshaft of 50.000
It's the biggest camshaft howards sells on there website
I’m trying to run two 2100 carbs did you use 2 exact matches or are they slightly different?
That are exactly the same.
Wow man love that motor. I want one.
How can i get one like that??
Lots of time, and money.
Damn that sounds good! Co$t?
fuk yeah
Who built that head
My brother and I.
Who built the head
Now that’s hot rodding.
I dont see this working well, if at all, with how the factory vortec intake works with the intake signal it has.
Thats just flat out awesome man!! Congratulations on the build.
Thats cool as heck!
I feel that's pretty amazing that most of the machining was spot that on I wish you luck I'm looking forward to seeing the next video
What are you going to put it in?
