My old man was a Ford guy and I remember how terrible these carburetors or even after you rebuilt them they just were terrible carburetors. He finally saved up and bought a couple 500 CFM Holley two-barrel carburetors to replace them.
its considerably easier to just order a vortec specific intake from jegs or summit,add a 4 barrel carb and enjoy the far better flow and performance...this is interesting but definitely not flow optimized

That was designed to be a dry intake. I think you will have wildly different air fuel ratios from one cylinder to another.

I dont see this working well, if at all, with how the factory vortec intake works with the intake signal it has.
