After receiving this case, I’d have paid $500 dollars for sure. if I was spending this much on a case that is. Seriously the nicest case I have ever seen. The finish is pure ridiculous. Robustness and build quality is really very very good. I don’t know why these were being sold for $200.00 USD. Essentially the black on is also $500 here in US as well, just the white GGF ones were being sold for $200 completely brand new retail and unopened units on Amazon.

@@toonnut1 I’d go with a very thin thermal pad. I went 2mm and it was too thick. See how a soft 1mm work.

That is my waterchiller running for my PC. It uses a compressor to keep water at 15C year round.

@@steven7297 So, if you look at my videos my system is setup for extreme overclocking. I mean, of course we can use an air cooler on our PC and be quiet and it gets the job done. But that’s not the point. I’m sure you have a refrigerator in your home, but we never think about its noise level, or how loud our refrigerator is lol. We are so use to hearing it. So imagine that a water chiller sounds like a mini fridge or something like that. It’s designed to keep things ultra cool for extreme overclocking with lots of voltage. It’s not for everyone though.

@@exynossnapdragon5596 I use 15c water. Which isn’t that crazy cold. It’s a daily water temp. I also run 4.8Ghz on my 3175X. 4.8Ghz scores 44.5K in R23. Running 5.0Ghz needs colder water for sure possibly a delid on the chip. But 4.9Ghz would yield 45.6K, and 5.0Ghz would net 46.7K in R23. Only way to run 5.0Ghz right now would be to reduce water temp, and run the test. Which I might try it for fun. 🤩 but 4.8Ghz is very easy to run and it’s scoring 44,500 easily. +100Mhz on all cores will add another 1,150 points or 1,200 points to R23 score.

@@benb8823 You can set the water to 3C. If you want to go colder you have to unplug the temp sensor which allows the chiller to keep running then it’ll just keep going below -0. But such temps need a properly prepped system, you would need an Anti-Freeze in the coolant. Dielectric grease in cpu socket and a properly insulated motherboard so condensation doesn’t hurt anything . I just run 15c water daily though. This alone far outperforms any custom loop around, even if it has like (20) Mora’s

@@catalinneculita4988 let’s not forget the 14900KS is 70% faster in actual multithreaded workloads over a 7800X3D as well. But Yeah the 14900KS is a ripper! I never had any degradation problems. I owned/tested probably 20 different 13/14th gen Intel i9 CPU’s.

@@B3TR0Z It’s really not that loud. I just moved in to a new home this week that we had built, and after setting everything up again in my office. The water return flow from system going back in to my 10 gallon buffer tank is actually louder than my chiller is. If you do not want to hear it at all, maybe someone wants complete silence, then just install the unit under the home. Run the lines through the floor with some QD’s that can hook up to numerous PC systems.

@L_3551 forsure . 90% of my experience with chillers are actually with cold fresh water fish . And generally I went diy style . I place a canister filter with excess tube in a mini fridge with drilled intake and output holes to produce similar results for a fraction of the price of a retail chiller. Worked great for an aquarium , however wouldn't work as well for custom loop application unless your running the system 24/7 or turning off the mini fridge and waiting for it to get chilly enough to produce results. One time my canister filter died the lines froze up . however with coolant needing a lower freezing point may avoid that issue.

@@abzaman77 Depends on the CPU. All chips are different. Even another chip on my same setup/cooling will not work with these settings in the video. It’s ideal to make your own settings. I remember going through (6) 13900K chips at BestBuy, and they all required their own specific tune.

@@PadPoet Mine is insanely stable, which is frankly why I love it so much, I use it daily for work and it never skips a beat. Apparently these CPU’s support a lot more than 512GB, level1techtips said that Intel lied on the spec sheet apparently, so I know they support (32GBx12) officially, so I can only assume they might just support (64GBx12) I am running 192GB in a (12x16GB Hexa Channel) G.Skill DDR4 3200CL14 Samsung B-Die. I run my ram overclocked to DDR4 3800CL14-16-16-36 with 1.500V and it passed Anta777 Extreme (3 cycles) even without a fan blowing at all, the ram was like 54-57C this test took about 5-6 hours alone, using no fan was done intentionally just to see if it would hold up, and it did. CPU stability is extremely impressive. Overclocking the CPU when needing to add more voltage to achieve stability, this is usually done and good to go with +/- 0.005 volts and things are good. It’s not like modern chips where we may need to add +/-0.020 volts to make something stable or not when overclocking. Speaking frankly here, this system doesn’t really need overclocking. It already is boosting up to 4.3Ghz, and 3.8Ghz on all 28/56. I’m enjoying mine so much. This rig cost me a good bit more than next gen Intel systems, and I’m having a lot more fun with this. The EKWB Velocity WS is very good as well! That’s what I’m using. Those Aorus C621 boards are insanely limited. They originally only produced (50) for retail sale, then they made (50) more. So roughly 100 boards out in the wild is what I was told by an expert/enthusiast of this platform. I have a video of proper CPU torque specs if you are interested, I never had any issues always obtaining hexa channel memory, and all dimm slots always work for me. @@max1024 It is an excellent system for work and gaming lots of ram, lots of cores. Using Windows 11 for a lot of apps when working feels especially fast compared to something like a 14900KS, I do not know why this is, but it’s a crazy smooth and fluid system. For running faster memory speeds it probably can be done but with less ram obviously and preferably using single rank DDR4 ram sticks. So, something like using 6x8GB (48GB) or 12x8GB (96GB) would probably overclock much better than Dual Rank sticks. Then my current 12x16GB (192GB). I am only using 1.500V to the memory for DDR4 3800CL14-14-14-34 360 1T command rate. The bandwidth and latency is already so good using dual rank sticks and all 12 slots filled, that I’m quite happy with even just the stock XMP DDR4 3200CL14. So running 3800 is especially good! The platform is HEXA channel, just small ram overclocks provides pretty large improvements. I cannot get DDR4 4000 to work with 192GB of DDR4, though I have not tried all that hard. But I think 3850-3900 would probably be the limits.

That sounds like a great idea!!! I can only assume the 9950X3D will be really good. AMD is slowly getting better and better with their 3D cache CPU, the 5800X3D was already amazing, 7800X3D was much better. The 9800X3D will probably be a home run. The only reason why I built this platform, was because I more or less refused to buy a Z890+Intel 285K. I do not understand Intels direction lately. I miss the old days of AMD VS. INTEL. There isn’t a single thing exciting about a LGA1851/Z890 platform. Other than maybe someone upgrading from an older system like 10th/11th/12th gen. But for those of us who already had 13th/14th gen Intel. I don’t see the enticement.

@ I agree with everything you said. I have the 14900KS, Z790 Apex also. Only issue with my set up is that I can’t control the heat with a 360mm AIO and so it down clocks. The new microcodes keep it stable but have basically turned it into a 13900K. Cenebench scores are in the 38,000 range. I should stick with this CPU and go ahead and get a Chiller like you have so I can get the best out of what the Chip is capable of. I most likely will get the 5090 when it comes out also. It’s supposed to be a beast. I love my 4090 but the 5090 will offer higher resolutions and more bandwidth and other caveats.

@@excel1234a I have no idea. I do not have this board anymore. Your ram OC on the Unify-X will depend on your CPU IMC Quality. Super strong IMC can run 8200+. Average IMC will be 7600-7800 range.

this board can do 8200 with a golden sample?!?!?! That’s crazy for a z690 chipset. I found this board new in box for 280 euros
