I hope you enjoy your time with your Son. That is the most important thing. I love that you micromanage the Christmas Tree decorations...LOL I understand having to step away because of obligations and overwhelm. I hope that December is a better month for you than November was. I love that you did a lot of decorating to help you get through it. Oh bless, I know how you feel.. I only see my son every few weeks or so.. I miss him so much. I agree November was such a heavy month.. I had a lot of health issues in the family..The pace of life has felt relentless since I moved house in the summer. Such a helpful walkthrough, like you I feel like I could make a perfect deck by blending them.

I was just thinking that I would use the cat deck for archetypal work, like embodying or working on the energy of a certain character apart from the actual meaning of the card. After all, we are not always as lucky as to have such a detailed back story for the people represented in the cards, I would use it as an advantadge. Also, I believe that when reading for people that are not knowledgeable of tarot, in not such a serious framework (client or theme wise) it might be less daunting for someone to see some familiar faces in the cards and might get a clearer message for them. And cats. Everyone loves cats.

It’s a perfect structure to use the cards to set intentions around gratitude for the year to come or anytime really! Love it! 😍

Love Urban Crow for this time of year. The creator lives about an hour from me in Seattle, so it definitely has local winter vibes. I like the keywords you added to Between Worlds. If I did that to mine, I would probably use it more. I like to pair it with Urban Crow...kinda like little items that the crows might pick up. Lol

Darkness of Light Tarot is my all-time FAVORITE deck!!!! I am obsessed....it's the only deck I have multiple editions of (all 4, 2 copies of the 4th edition so I can use one and just keep one perfect...yes, I may have a problem. Lol). That is the reason I never picked up Heaven and Earth even though it is a gorgeous deck. I'm surprised DOL is OOP right now. I recommend signing up for the creators newsletter on his site. I wouldn't be surprised if he maybe brings it back for the holidays 🤞🏻

So many wonderful decks and books. I have been wanting to pick up the Heaven and Earth Tarot for a long time... was that the large box deck or the more compact box? I need to try this tag when I get back to Brussels. I have to resist the urge to order another load of books!

The first deck you showed - is it Pensive Tarot? I really like it, I've never seen that deck before. 😊 The Solitary Witch oracle is beautiful, but the guidebook seemed to be geared for younger folks. (I'm in my 60's) I gave it to a young friend and she loves it. ❤️ The decks I'm using are Soprafina Dellaroca, Oak, Ash & Thorn, & good ol'RWS plaid backs. 😂 This was a fun video, thank you!

Thanks for this! I totally agree with your comments about the energy of Pensive Path; the brilliance with which RM curated the art is amazing. I enjoy the Urban Crow Oracle, too, and really like the balance in it of pos/neu/neg energies with the images/keywords; oddly I don't use it very often anymore because I'm so much more drawn to Raven energy than to Crow energy -- which are quite different for me; I may do some magic around the deck to bring in Raven essence instead as that might help me turn to it more. Southern Gothic is phenomenal but then I'm born and bred Ozarker (close kin to Appalachia ancestral energy). Interesting books but I skipped over them --- I'm more interested in what you actually think AFTER reading them so please do share later! :) Blessings!

These are fun, and I love the idea of using a set of playing cards. I was recently going through some old family stuff, old papers and photos, and we got rid of a bunch, but I went back and grabbed some of the papers headed for recycling, and will use this for some kind of a collage oracle deck for personal use. Thank you for your ideas!!

Looks like a lot of fun. I would definitely try it but I do need a guiding question. Or maybe I missed that. I like the using of a variety of decks. I think messages pop much better in this kind of reading. Thanks for sharing your process!

Thanks for sharing this method, I enjoyed how you moved through the in-motion aspects. I also pull out quite a few decks in many readings so this is a new interesting way to relate the cards to each other! I'm not interested really in drawing the 'map' part and, as a writer of stories, will probably just create different literary scenes for each grouping that emerges in relating the cards to each other. So, I totally love the CARDS visuals that can shift in a variety of ways but the 'drawn map' not so much. LOL Does that make sense? I love how we can each emerge uniquely through this particular way of reading the cards. Again, thank you! Blessings!

I have done mind-mapping and find it a great tool for taking notes and creating links to ideas. I call it a concept map when I teach it to my students as you take one keyword and explore that and then link it to another keyword to create an interactive web of concepts. I’ve not used it for reading the tarot but love how you created yours especially with colour-coding words to match colours on the cards. I’m going to try this soon. Did you have a question in mind and then drew cards from various packs for the same question? Or did you have an open theme to explore? I’m just wondering how to start the reading. Thanks.

I LOVE the inner child oracle. I also just use it as an oracle. Amanda Aisling has a talent for creating strong, intuitive cards. I am very excited to see the new one she has coming. Also Hay House ALWAYS gets me with those darn books 😂. Especially the journals! I totally have that same gratitude journal in my cart for the next sale! Great minds 😍
