Hi, Carrie! Our morning habits are exactly the same. My husband drives me nuts because he snoozes for *literally* 2 hours every morning. 😂 I'm up at the first alarm because it's the most productive time for me! I resonate most strongly with King of Cups and/or Queen of Pentacles. However, there was a period a couple years ago when I kept getting Queen of Swords as a placeholder for myself in spreads. Working with her closely for that intense period of time made me really appreciate her... especially when I'm teaching higher-level English classes, her discernment is so appropriate. Definitely an undervalued card! I love hearing you talk about your love for the beach and the mineral water source. I very, very much feel that way about walking through the swamplands near me. I feel that I'm pretty comfortable with the courts at this point. I compare the court cards to different parts of the writing stage: page as brainstorming (good intention and fresh perspectives), knight as drafting (getting as much written as possible), queen as final draft (a firm knowing of who/what she is, cultivated energy), and the king as publishing (sharing that knowledge with others). I heard you say that the king is "one step above the queen," and with my analogy, it appears I agree with that. The queen is already a pinnacle of energy; the king just shares it with others publicly while she shares it more privately. I *struggle* with mind/body/spirit with interpreting the body, but I've been trying! I think it means that I probably need to do more work connecting with my body because when I get any card in that position, my mind goes blank. I do not experience that any other time I read cards... I think there's a block there for me. I love reading without spreads! It feels the most natural for me. Thanks for sharing. It was nice to learn more about you!
I'm writing this early in the morning half way through my cup of coffee lol while it's still dark and the house is quiet, 😊 I love the way you talk about nature and your connection on your channel. I bet the swampland is a beautiful place to connect and ground. The way you see the courts as writing stages is a fantastic way to relate to their energies. For a long time I thought I was QoW then decided I'm "too serious and honest" to be QoW so I decided I was QoS. That archetype simply doesn't fit me so I've allowed myself to sit in the QoW energy and love how we can glean energies and personas from these cards! I ADORE your art journal. That's how I draw too - find an image and redraw it. I'm no good at drawing from my own mind - I mess up proportions and placements. Now I need to go back and watch some of your old videos to catch up on who you are! Lastly I'm excited to watch today's video (after work)!! I hope you have a lovely day!! 💜
