It was great to watch your mid-year review! Bye-bye low buy! Hahahaha. I think for me purchasing and then refraining has its own ebb and flow so indeed, good to go with your intuition. I am thinking of getting the Erenberg Tarot too so I might join in with the study. I loved the combo of the Fifth Spirit with the Archetypes cards, they are now high on my wishlist. I think it's great journaling with a way that works for you. Thanks for the update!
Not showing your journal should be self-explanatory, I would think? It's a journal! Haha. Keep to yourself what you want to. I recently obtained The Aquarian too (for the newly included book) and you're inspiring me to pull it out more! I'm enthralled every time you talk about your work. Being a professional medium is fascinating. FIFTH SPIRIT TAROT FAN CLUB RISE UP (it's all of us, we all stand up like, "uuuuh duh?")
Great video my friend. I also needed a change in my tarot practice and changed it around October of 2023. I was in a very structured practice and wanted to be in a couple of memberships that just no longer served my higher self because I just felt over-whelmed by wanting to participate but not really feeling like it was beneficial for me and my own personal growth. Removing myself from those groups and or memberships was the best thing for me personally, and my practice and creativity has increased so much more because it wasn't being taken up by those other activities anymore. It wasn't an easy choice to make, but I'm so happy I did! Thank you for sharing your journal also, I loved seeing it. 😍😍😍
Change, re-evaluation, letting go, I think are a definite necessity in our practices to grow like you mentioned. It gives us a chance to rediscover ourselves and our practice. Thanks for watching and always supporting me 😊
Loved your Video, Carrie. You just Tell it like it is with your sense of Humor. love this ❤ I am glad for you that your health issues turned out to be no issues anymore 😊 The great outdoors and especially the fifth spirit Tarot are absolute favorites of mine. Everytime I use the fifth spirit it turns out to be a message touching my soul. And yes, together with the archetype cards, they are wonderful partners 😍 I too experience a Kind of a break in my Tarot practice depending my journaling. I do pull cards and work with them as usual, but I left out the journaling somehow. But I think it is okay. As you said, there are so many things keeping me busy, I have to prioritize. And the Omen days flashed me too, which I did take notice of for the first time. Practice comes back bit by bit, there is no "have to" but an "I can if I want to". Thank you, Carrie, you keep inspiring me, that's wonderful ❤😘
Thanks Angela. Yes journaling your own way is definitely OK no matter if you miss logging readings or not. Thanks for sharing about your practice too. 😊
Thanks so much for sharing your reflections on your card practices and your journal. It's always helpful (and inspiring) to hear about how others approach these kinds of things. Glad to hear your health stress has been relieved 😅 🎉 Simplification is always at the forefront for me, too. My journalling, for example, is only about writing, no embellishments. I had to accept that I am not a creative journaller (no washi tape, collage images or colorful pens)... and it is so freeing to let any other ideas (as fun as they are) go. So freeing to focus and pare down, it actually gives me so much inspiration when I can do so! I also hear you on introduced/ external ideas or mindsets ("low buy", trending topics or art)... most of the time, I just simply want to appreciate with others the joy that is Tarot and Oracle.
That's great you found a journal style that works for you. Journals are such a personal thing it should definitely be something you're comfortable doing and not how others do theirs. 😊
Fifth Spirit is a huge top 5 for me this year as well. It was a runner up on my top 5 video, but in the weeks since I published that video, it's really knocked some others out of place. I'll have to try it with Archetypes because that's an oracle I think I'm feeling called to right now. ☺️ Thanks for sharing! I appreciated hearing your honest thoughts about the natural rhythms of our practices.
Yes! "Know the space I have & stay in budget"! Buh-bye low-buy! It's funny watching trends on TH-cam - like last year it was to not call our collection a collection and instead call it our library. Until someone said, NO! I'll call it a collection if I wanna! 😅 It's nice when we can break out of that tendency to follow the pack!
I'd love to do a deck study with you, but I'll wait for another deck. The Erinberg doesn't appeal to me (right now). I'll keep my eyes peeled for your next one 😊
LOL! The reason I haven't bought The Erenberg Tarot is because of the feet! I wish they had included an alternative feet card. My most used deck so far this year has been The Faeries' Oracle. The fae started reaching out to me in April, so I dedicated May to pulling a card a day to get to know them better. I did the same with the Dream Ritual Oracle. I've also used Earth Alchemy Oracle quite a bit. I switch Tarot decks almost daily, but probably The Tarot Landscapes is the deck I've used most often. I understand why you always reach for Morgan-Greer. It's easy. I don't have to think what the creator had in mind, if there are any nuances, what symbolism is hidden away, etc, when I read with it. It just is, and it's easy and accurate. Now I need to locate mine so I can do a spread with it. LOL. Thanks for this video, Carrie!
Omgosh that's so funny. I don't know how I missed that feet card in walkthroughs 🤣 🤢 You're exactly right about the Morgan Greer being easy and so accurate. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for a great video. I will be joining the discord and purchasing that deck. I too do not like feet. So not too thrilled with that card. But the other ones looked lovely and stood out to me.

Yeah I definitely wasn't jumping on that library trend, no one is telling me what to call my stuff🤣😂🤣 I often tend to be the lone wolf hahaha
