I have a Blueprint crate engine, and a set of original Mickey Thompson valve covers. I studded the valve covers, since the depth of the threads were shallow, and I didn't want to buy several different lengths of bolt to guess. It worked VERY well.

Always build a containment box for your battery and/or for your fuel cell never have a live battery next to a fuel cell if something happens that gem of a car will burn to the ground and you don't want that hundred bucks and material and a welder can save your car.

I am a racer thru and thru and will always be true to drag racing but that autocross javelin is so good it's built right and with a winter's quick change rear end it would be an incredible experience now I'm dying to know the specs on that motor. The front steering rack as well with the small rally wheels looks so good it reminds me of the 70s auto circuit cars with the square setup small wide wheels and tires.

I like the TH-cam channels now that Discovery Channel killed all the good Motortrend shows. My only gripe/suggestion to most of the shows is: can you move it along a bit quicker?? Too much yakking and SLOW dialog!!

Hey Steve, nice project. My first car in high school was a 67 Dart GT with a 273. Was always curious if that little motor had any potential. But,hell, with what I've seen with slant 6 builds, it would be interesting to see what you could do....(anybody can get power from a 440, eh?)

Dulcich has the old fashioned ingenuity and Wiley seems to be learning quickly.

I noticed that Wiley started growing his hair once he got the satellite and airing on your channel I have to be honest I think he looks better without the bushy mullet. Steve you have had your hair style since I can remember so if you were to chop it it would be different but Wiley cut the hair buddy it looks scrubby short hair look much more professional on you.

I had a 1964 Dodge Coronet 2-door hard top with a 440 Magnum and a 727 auto trans. Similar car and a wonderful highway runner. This one is a clean car. It is nice when it is over 100 degrees at Steve's in the summer and 65 degrees at Morrow Bay. The entire California coast is nice.

It’s amazing how many plated Phillips head screws there are in plain view. I never seem to notice them back in the day. 😂 I love the 71 , 72 models.
