My most fav combat technique was prince stealing the weapon from all most dead enemy
I wish the mask didnt stop draining health when you where low, I saw that it did, and my feel of urgency dissapeared, If I get hit I just rewind with my almost infinite sand. I think the bit of frustration for dying because of the mask is a good trade. Just like with dark prince in Two Thrones.
it's not as fun as the first... not at all... the combat is annoying, i actually found myself wondering the same areas without being able to progress... and combat is not good, i don't see where i am at some situation and i get enemies hitting me because of overly messy special effects, in the first ori it would never happen. and emotions? i don't know i kind of don't care about anyone here?! a really really disappointing sequel.
the will of the wisps is junk
I played this game so much as a kid, think I completed it like 15 times on hard. It got to the point where I could get through half the game without getting hit once haha. Great game, never knew they had dev hell but it makes sense. Ubisoft ruined all of my fave franchises.

Well of course the Prince is gonna be Cranking it all game. Have you seen the Empress? lol actually never paid attention to that until just now. I'm dying for a playthrough.
actualy the reason why Gore was removed it was due to the fact that in Sequel we actualy been killing humans infused with sand who where the warriors of Kaileena while in third game we kill people infected by the sands which fused them yes they walk and act human but are like in first game made OUT OF SAND so when we kill them they slowly fall apart!

Luckily Ori and the Will of the Wisps improved on both combat mechanics and bosses
Cod 1 is from 2003 and it's hold up pretty well you should play that game too
8:18 that is because they removed the freestyle combat and left only stealth kill. They changed a lot of things due to the SOT whinners

I as kid was so amazed by ppww that blow my mind I always make something to play this game this was so hard core and stunishing for me Finding a moment and time for playing this game was always my priority Some times i miss the mistery that this game had it is time that new games never could achive even with so much grafics This game is so misterios so hard to finish even have two time lines in other words it has two ending I could atchive the bad ending that you kill the empress of time But the other one is you dont kill the empress of time and kill the dahaka with the water sword
The order I played the trilogy in (way back in the day) was: 1 - WW, 2 - TTT, 3 - SOT. My issue with TTT is that it felt short, and the story felt subpar. I DID like edgy prince. While the characterization of the prince in SOT made sense, as he was younger and less experienced, the one from WW portrayed a hardened warrior. To see them backtrack on that characterization, back to SOT prince, except it's in TTT, just to appease fans, was disappointing to me. Furthermore, as mentioned before, the story just felt rushed. At no point did I see any connection develop between Farah and the prince; it just felt forced. Ditto for the whole emotional redemption of the prince, which felt more like moralistic lecturing. I did enjoy the last phase of the game, as it suddenly increased the difficulty and platforming complexity, which up until then I felt was sorely lacking. But I still enjoy the other two much more, and WW is the one I keep returning to the most.
There was so much cut content from this game that would have made it even more interesting than it already was. Even so, I will defend Warrior Within as the best Prince of Persia game to date
I think another way this game is so effective is how it tells its story…or rather, doesn’t…the entire game is done in a “show, don’t tell” style, making it that much more unsettling because you likely have just as much, if not LESS information than Six does about this world and how it works
It still is, in regards to some aspects. Warrior Within is THE GOAT from this particular genre of games. There will never be another.
The trilogy was better than assassin's Creed. At least what AC is now. I loved the first AC when it came out and was a fan, more or less, up until and including Syndicate. Still, I'd sacrifice the existence of AC if it meant more quality POP games. I don't mean the 2 PS3 ones, but closer to sands of time and WW. Metroidvania style maps in 3D, lots of puzzles and improving on WW combat. The third installment took a step backwards if you ask me. For the record I've been a huge fan since the 1991 POP TSAF came out. I then went back and played the original POP from (1989?) and must have played that on my old windows 95 probably 100 times

As a person who grew up with this trilogy and finished it countless times the analogy with Dead Space and the minimalistic hud and overall immersion brought a tear to my eye. I loved Prince of Persia and for me it's a GOATed series.

Dahaka wasn't after prince it was after his amulet which he gains from the sands of time after taking pleasure with princess. princess cheat him and took the dagger but left the amulet, and the prince took that amulet. when prince came back after sand storm in the past, from that moment in the present timeline there were two amulet the one which princess already have and another the prince took it from future, which should not belong in that timeline. so here comes Dahaka. this confusion cleared when u complete pop ww . in the bad ending u have to defeat kaileena and Dahaka appears it consumes her and then it consume prince amulet and leaves, and prince is safe and happy. but that not only the case, in the good ending, he needs to defeat dahaka and by doing so dahaka is nomore empress is safe prince is happy, but this doesn't change the fact that there are still 2 amulet but who cares now the Dahaka is dead now, but prince have the empress and now they are heading to bablyon and that place is fucked up by Vizier. and thats when pop tt start. but there are still too many confusing things.
Time to time, I just get my old box of WW and keep looking to this beauty <3 My fav game so far
