Well I'll be ,thanks for this video MG , I had great time planning and building the "Terminator" even if I never did like that name , Frank Moriarty & I spent many of long days & nights chasing Cobra's thru the DAP while he was taking notes for this book , at the time I had 30 years in at Ford 20 of them building Mustangs ,but that Cobra was the best car we ever built,, I hope that everyone that has one enjoys them as much as I did , Chapter 10 . I've been thinking about getting a 2020-ish GT500, but man I dunno I keep coming back to the Terminator. I've always loved these. Plus all the newer GT500's are automatics, which sucks. I think I'll just get a termi and put a huge KB on it. Save money and it'll be faster anyway lol The older Mustangs feel so raw and I love that. I had a 2020 GT for a while. It was quick and all but it was missing the old school feel. Never really put a smile on my face.

How many miles per gallon with the supercharger?

Did you take the restrictor plate off the Cold air? That reduces the car from the best Mach made of 2021 by 10-12 hp. They started putting that plate on the Machs in 2022 n 2023. Take it off. It’s a noticeable difference.

Just got a 21 grabber yellow mach 1 premium 15k miles for 45 love the tremec and suspension big difference from a regular GT

The issue is the car will run lean.

Many of the same reasons Im buying a 2022 Mach I in one week with 4900 miles on it over a dark horse and its $37k which doesn't hurt.

2023 Mach 1 with 1500 miles, 2 recalls & 1 warranty issue and currently another magna ride issue. I love the look, color & power but I'm starting to think I should of bought something else.

With my Kooks headers and tune I'll take my 2022 Mach 1 all day every day. GT is really nice too. My 2017 V6 with turbo will gap either the 650 or 550 though and was only $10,000 so in comparison I like the 2017 V6 turbo charged.

Did they have the same tires?? Sport cups make a big diff. Also if you went for the non-track pack on the Mach1, you not even close to a shelby on track i think. So you did not get the better car..

It's 470 hp. Ford detuned it slightly after 2021.

Did you leave the tie rod ends connected to the steering knuckles before replacing the rack bushings?

2022 Race Red, non HP, 10R80 auto Mach 1 owner here. I have enjoyed it other than at only 4k miles I had limp mode activate on me. Now this is my 5th Mustang and it’s the only one that has done anything like that. I have owned a 89’ LX 5.0, 89’ GT, 94’ GT and 73’ Mach 1. After pulling over and giving it a few minutes, it fired right up and was if nothing had ever happened! It does get a ton of looks as you stated. I don’t like the recaro seat because I am a big guy and they are way uncomfortable for my son and I. I am going to give it 4 out of 5 stars because I am not sure if I can trust it yet.

I don't waste any time arguing a mustang is better than a camaro, so I'm certainly not going to argue which mustang is best. There are so many variables. It really all boils down to personal preference.

Every time you or the others pronounced it ‘SAY-leen’ it was like nails on a chalkboard. Not trying to be a troll but mispronouncing the name really takes away from what you’re trying to do and makes you all sound uninformed and amateurish. It’s pronounced ‘SUH-leen’ like Gasoline, Steve Saleen often corrects people. The guys on Motorweek and Motortrend got it right!! Lol Other than that, really good job, appreciate the video. ✌️

I've thought about going to 2020 GT 350 but can't justify the minimal performance difference especially after the Steeda 93 octane tune. Plus, the Bullitt name lives on forever!!

Being that I had the Shelby GT350 for awhile its quite comparable between the two. The S550 platform with the 350 / Mach 1 has wonderful tech, amazing handling and drivability and just overall great cars to have. Only thing I don't agree with is saying it has any rawness. Being that everything is electronic and nothing is cable driven it really takes away from that raw feeling and was one of the main reason I went back to a Terminator after having the 350.

Placed my order as soon as the order banks opened, I had a 99 prior and was disappointed with it. Took delivery of my Black 03 Cobra Coupe in July of 2002. Still have it with less than 4k miles in the garage. I opted for the spoiler delete option, haven't seen many others. Mine is highly modified for drag racing, have thought about selling it over the years, but knew I would regret it. Guess I will keep it until I die.

2013 H Veloster needs new head unit, so have to turn radio off completely. Nav system talks back, etc. $3-4K to fix - not worth it. Does this workin car with device and phone?

If a mechanic knows what they are doing, about how much time should it take to remove and replace the bushings?
